even for a OVA, this intro song is very !GREAT¡, the best of the best intros, for a anime (undoubtedly the UK intro is better than the japanese version), very cool, thrilling and funk, a unforgettable musical piece .

Watching Tank Police in original Japanese feels like such a soulless / generic anime experience. The UK dub + music version is one of the few times English dub was a major improvement.

@autoduck The guy who made tank police made it was back in the 80s, maybe even 70s, and metal slug copied it in the 90s. the anime is fun and goofy, and Metal Slug is still one of my favorite games/series.

The dubs aren't like as good as GitS or FMA but I really like leona's voice. Specs is cool too and omg Brenten's voice is the best. I fucking love all of his lines.

Yeah i wasn't meaning to diss it. I mean you can clearly see the difference between the VA in this show and something like GitS but it wasn't meant to be an insult. I love all the VA's. IDK I liked the first OVA's. New Dominion seemed farther away from the manga.

Musically with the Japanese version, the opening was pretty good, but for the rest of the series...."meh!". With the English version, all around the music was on point for the moods, settings and such. I'd go with the English version any day, but still gotta give some props for the Japanese opening.
