I ordered Dominos in Canada several times during COVID. Sometimes it was good, sometimes not so good. I do think that they need to improve their ingredients, especially the tomato sauce. It’s better to make your own if you have the time.

I died on Valentine's day 2009 looking at a Dominos flyer that had a sausage pizza looking like rat droppings. I laughed myself to death. My wife, bless her soul, had to resuscitate me. My heart stopped and she gave me CPR. Death by Dominos.

Pizza was considered poor peoples' food and wasn't popularized in Italy until it hit with soldiers during WWII. Which is funny, because its also a result of colonialism as tomato is from the Americas (and for about 200 years, only the poor ate it as Euros thought it was poisonous). And frankly, pizza is nothing more than the evolution of a flat bread, which people eat all over the world. So arguing over what is authentic pizza is going full retard. It was poverty food. It was spread out of Italy by poor migrants who went west for better life. And if they put whatever they wanted on it and called it pizza, you don't have any place to tell them otherwise.

my pizza gets tomato sauce, mozzarella cheese, some tomato slices and a good quality salami. Oh, and a bit of garlic and chilies, because I can. ;-) Homemade, because you're right. Those frozen cookie dough pizzas suck. They're cheap and that's what you get for cheap. Pizzadough is quite easy to make. All you need is a good workout and knead the dough into oblivion. ^^

I grew up working at Sorentinos pizzeria. He was straight up Italian Best pizza ever ...go to filippis San Diego...but get it well done ...that's the best spot these days. Mr Sorrentino has since passed.

Hi Pasta Queen!!!! I got your book as a gift and I have been loving it, Italian cousine Is fenomenal. Making your grandmother's Ragu sauce, and the recipes you share with us is amazing. And about Domino's, I'm aware their pizza is not authentic Italian food at all, but it still tastes amazing, with a flavorful sauce, a soft/crunchy crust and lots of delicious cheese. It is fast food, and I really like their pizzas. I quite dislike pineapple on pizza, and I also don't like those bell pepper-mushroom loaded pizzas that domino's makes. My personal favorite is their Salami Picante pizza, I'm yet to try their Salami pizza. I like the pan-pizza and the cheese stuffed crust pizza. I know this is not Italian cousine, it is fast food and it tastes delicious. I love your authentic recipes, they are delicious, looking forward to your pizza recipe.

The only way I put pineapple on a pizza is the diced pineapple not big chunks because it makes the pizza soggy and then you want to add jalapenos and a lot of jalapenos but it's all about the crust and no I don't eat Domino's there's a really nice place in the town I live that has sourdough crust just really good

🤚Here's the thing...☝️if you want to see elephants and monkeys you can go to the zoo or you can go to the circus . At the zoo at least you can see them in somewhat of a good environment. At the circus, they're probably not in the best shape and a bit of a spectacle. But if you want to see elephants and monkeys at their best, find them in their natural habitat. But if you want to see unicorns don't expect to find them at any of these places 😄! ✌️pineapple is not bad on "flatbread style " ¿pizza? If it's complimentary to other ingredients-my first experience was an order I copied while I worked at🥴 pizzahut: pineapple, jalapeño &/or banana pepper , olives, onions, green pepper and mushrooms. Salty, spicy, sweet...the customer was a family from India.
