I mean, since Armor serves no purpose level cap, I'd say it's for Arcane Battery, idk. That or it's for Little Timmy who started yesterday and got the weirdest rhino beetle from the Game Awards, and doesn't have energy economy yet.

There are also some Incarnon perks that only activate with specific armour values. This way you can get benefit from those perks without needing to use a shard or mod to get the armour going.

2:27 this is presuming that you are not in a crowd that can still kill you. Her abilities don't one tap and chaos doesn't make enemies fully non aggro on you, without that in steelpath or late game you basically die before you even get to use chaos

The inclusion of armor feels like it’s for the new players, since it’s still nice to rely on when your starting out. That or (tinfoil hat theory) DE is making a play where they eventually update armor in the future where the frames they have given more armor would benefit allowing more build variety. So they’re trying to put where ever also would be weird if nyx gets shields and overguard but for some reason not armor so just in line with the overall use of the ability. Still think mind control should allow us to control at least 2 enemies instead of 1.

Mind Control may now just be worth of avoiding the Helminth boot. My formerly slow but entertaining ‘Decoy’ build may be worthwhile. 1) Helminth Loki’s “Decoy” over Nyx’s 4th or her 3rd. 2) mod for high Str and Dur. Range and efficiency aren’t critical. 3) add “Damage Decoy” and “Mind Freak” 4) if Decoy is now her 3rd, activate 4th to increase your damage. 5) next, select a target for her 1st, cast, damage pump. 6) cast Decoy on the same target. It’s now invulnerable with her 1st and reflects back HUGE damage with Damage Decoy. 7) cast Psychic Bolts on enemies nearest your minion. 8) sit back with some popcorn and make bets on who lasts longer. **9) equip the Panzer Vulpaphya to spread VIRAL, speeding the kill rate. **10) if enemies can be disarmed, melee strikes from your decoy deal huge damage, as well as reflected strikes from enemies against your decoy. A minion can sometimes kill larger enemies in a single strike.

when im in the simulacrum and i have the exact same build and use the abilities in the same order, they dont do anything at all, but there shouldnt be enough enemies to stun their AI like you mentioned. why is this build preforming poorly for me but works great for you in the sp survival clips?

I'm gonna chime in here and say it's not useless at all. I find it's come in pretty clutch when I get dozed over from some invisible layline cast by an eximus ¼ mile away as I was just about to cast something. Happens all the time to me. I think her rework is pretty perfect, she's not meta but she's seen again. And I'm happy for that! If you play with friends or randoms you find yourself not being able to keep your overgaurd up because things are peppered all to hell but the time you get a cast off, so you're left with pittance. And this leaves open putting something else on her 4th, because let's face it, absorb has never been, nore ever will be mind blowing. I find it's more of a meme ability to just have some fun with or if you're just getting a feel for her it's life saving. So I'm in disagreement with you, they should leave it be so people have the freedom to helminth build her the way they want without it breaking the game. That's my take on it 😊 Good luck out there! You know, now that, I think about it the only reason you would need more armor. Is to avoid using archon shards. For armor bring up those archon shards. Or at least that was the train of thought for the devs. I'm guessing...

I’m a bit disappointed you still can’t cast her 1 on overguarded enemies, I believe they said you would do it with the rework, but it seems I misunderstood. So I propose to change her 1 ability on Wisp’s ability. And I wonder how the new mist which’ll give your enemies max viral stacks in 30m range would work

the armor buff critique makes no sense the way you argued it. "armor has no benefit because enemies are CC'd and not shooting you" same argument can be applied to the overguard and shield buffs, which you said were fine.

@@ArnSolma armor doesnt benefit your shields, and nyx doesn’t have enough hp to benefit from 1000 armor. You can simply shield gate and earn a better result for survivability. Overguard can also gate. I mentioned this clearly in the video. Rewatch it

The problem with Trinity and Nyx in my opinion is that they are boring to play, I don't know why I chose those characters, they have better options.
