In past experiences at Morimoto I have not cared for the sushi, but the other dishes have been pretty decent❤ Those ribs are the best things there😄 I agree with Chloe, the sushi at Kimonos is excellent 🎉

My husband and I went one time just for drinks and sat at the bar upstairs. It was early on, I believe and we actually met Chef Morimoto! Was a really special experience and we wish we’d ordered some food to say he made it for us.

Go at night and order nigiri off the separate sushi menu - they have a wide selection and it's all excellent. The sushi on the standard menu is limited to the basic rolls. The Peking Duck is also outstanding there.

Ryno, I usually don't comment but I had to this time. I have never eaten soup except when I am sick, to me it is a food to eat if you are throwing up and can't hold down actual food. Anytime I try to explain this, nobody gets it, but you saying "It tastes like sick" was the most accurate explanation I have ever heard. Watching healthy people eat soup and the smell of it makes me gag lol. I am glad to find someone else who put my feelings into words. 😂

My family had dinner there once, and idk if it was overhyped for me, but i got the ramen and dumplings and was not impressed especially for the high price tag. My whole family has no interest in going back. The carafe sangria is fabulous tho!

I've eaten at Asia twice. The first time was our anniversary. The food was outstanding. We had a great time. The 2nd time we ate there, the food was hit and miss. We ordered some sushi, which was not good at all, but the kitchen items were very good

We've only eaten here during their 12 Beers of Christmas event which we've done twice and thoroughly enjoyed. They offer some interesting beers from local breweries and the food has been really good. Though I agree the sushi is nothing special. It's fine, but I made the mistake of eating too much of it the first year we did this and was too full for a lot of other things. The second year I skipped it except for a couple of pieces, sticking with the other offerings and was very pleased.

Being Canadian, I always eat burgers cooked through. It’s not even a choice in restaurants to have a hamburger cooked medium or rare because of the very real concern about food poisoning from undercooked ground beef. I think this has been a health Canada guideline since there was a child who died after eating White Castle burgers undercooked (probably in the late 70’s early 80’s) For healthy adults, it’s just “food poisoning” but for smaller children or fragile seniors, it can be deadly. Wow….didnt mean this to become a science lecture sorry 😂
