Domoda [Farine], this tasty tomato and vegetable lemony stew with chicken or lamb or beef or fishballs and this particular touch in the addition of flour is an iconic gambian cuisine recipe.
It goes without saying that we find it elsewhere, especially in Senegal where it is simply called, Domoda, "Domodaa" in Wolof.
And it turns out that where in Gambia a Domoda [short] is a groundnut/peanut stew, in Senegal it is a Mafé.
It's a dish that's both friendly, generous and tasty of which it is said that it is better to appreciate if prepared one day before.
