Totally agree with Jaby and Syntell. Farhan Akhtar really tightened the script and cinematography up with Don 2, mostly because it was entirely original and his baby. Don 1 was a retread of the original so they had to pay homage to the story, scenes and characters (including the pointless kid side plot). With this, he was able to craft the movie the way he wanted. The sequel was kinda like a Don fan fiction.

India makes some great movies, especially regional ones. you should see some kannada, marathi, oriya, etc low budget movies. they have better storyline and acting than many hollywood movies. plus u r comparing huge hollywood hits with flop movies from india. there are hollywood movies like The Promise, the Alamo, stealth, etc which lost over 500 crores in the box office. utter failures. just plaining tagging any good indian movie as a hollywood movie can never be a compliment.

Srk as a villain was just so karismatic he did full justice to the character Don no one else can play that as stylish as him... you see as an audience we cheered for the bad guy that's the Victory of that character he played. One reason why I liked this movie even more is because we got to see more of Don as a leader, when he was delegating tasks and making plans to enter the vault. Until now we just knew he had charisma, but you need much more to get so many dangerous people to work for you and crown you king. Nicely done👍🏽

Original Don was written by Famous Bollywood duo Salim - Javed ( Salim - Salman khan's Father, Javed - Farhan Akhtar's Father ) Don 1 was tribute to His father by Farhan And Don 2 was his own Creation ( off course with his great Team)

Don 2 has to be the greatest heist movie Bollywood has ever produced. The cinematography, stunt choreography, the plot, the script everything. Heist is a washed up genre as is, but D2 made it cool. Can't see how they can top this. Don't want them to take the FF route.

The radical difference between Don and Don 2 is because the first part at its core is not Farhan Akhtar's vision but a remake of an old movie. This, however, is in alignment with his vision and therefore it is so much better.

Don 1 was a remake of the original Don which starred Amitji but Don2 was an original movie on itself as this was made where Don 1 left off; that's why the creators were able to wove quite a different story but still congruent to the original Don persona.

That way of carrying pc was actually very difficult, coz the temperature was really too low and that scene was shooted for nearly 20 times.... you all should react to the shooting of Don 2.. full vdo is there in yt... The chemistry is really awesome bw pc and srk for real,,, and so, Farhan really used it really well in the movie... I'm just waiting for Pc and srk as Roma and Don again in Don 3 ❤️
