They are essential worker and they complain because their conditions have been miserable for the last 2 years.. people don't give a shit tho. They will give a shit right away if supply starts to get cut and realize how hard of a job it is. Start slowly as a warning, you don't want to create a full panic, but the government will be forced to listen to them. Why do construction worker have so good condition? Because that's what they do if they are unhappy, they just fucking stop working. That's what they did with the SAQ (alcohol distribution in Quebec), the warehouse stopped working. Took less than 2 weeks and they got what they wanted. Peaceful protest. Honking at 2 AM won't do jack shit, people will just hate you for that. As for your idea of cards and candy, you can try that as well I guess, but I prefer my idea.

Don I agree with the no honking at night, that should of been addressed ahead of time and given a fair cut off like 730 PM give it a rest and for sure be done by 8pm, that gives a 30 min window of hey we need to be quiet now. I am a long time Cherry fan. His knowledge of hockey is and always was top notch. I always respected that Don told the truth as he saw it, and was/is spot on most of the time. We also watched Coach's Corner for events that happened in Canada outside of the hockey world, just to see if Don might talk about it. We knew that he would always tell us the truth. He is sorely missed today I'll tell ya. The timing of Don being fired coincided perfectly with the rise of all the lying from mainstream media. It's almost like they had to get rid of him to be able to hoodwink the people. If Don was still doing Coach's Corner, most of the media's attempts at twisting the narrative would have immediately been called out by Mr. Cherry. Keep on keepin' on Don, you are still a hero to many Canadians.

I’m confused. Is DC for the truckers or against? I pray he’s for them. All we want is the freedom to choose whether we get the jab or not (without the threats of losing our jobs). Unfortunately he is so convinced in his own mind that his advisors( Schwaub , Soros ,Butts & Tamm) know better than everyone else. He is immature & insecure by not allowing different viewpoints other than his own deeply held beliefs. It's like they're ingrained & entrenched to these philosophies & ideology almost to the point he's married to them like they're a part of his identity, so for him to have that world view challenged he would have to engage in the fight or flight syndrome. Which we have already seen from him. I think Don's advice is spot on , Trudeau needs to be kept off balance ,only by employing other tactics will this convoy will either create a opportunity for discussion( one of their objectives) or wear down & frustrate the authoritarians to blatantly cross more lines where they lose the propaganda war thereby lose more support from their base.

@@matthewbarry7026 First of all that's little too late, it took them a week to realize honking in the middle of the night might not be a good idea? There are reports some are still doing it anyway (this weekend people were still complaining). If even only 1 % doesn't respect that agreement, it's enough to wake up the whole neighborhood. And by protest, do you actually mean, protest? Cause riots is another thing, which obviously I don't support. When you burn stuff and flip cars, that is no longer a protest. We just had a protest here to the scale of the whole province not long ago with the SAQ (guys who sell alcohol ). Now that was peaceful, they just refused to go to work (the warehouses).. No blocking of the road or nothing, they got what they wanted within a week or so. THat's how you do it, not honking in the middle of the fucking night!

For the first time I can actually say I’ve lost respect for you Mr. Cherry. I’m no Trudeau fan but I certainly am a democracy fan and the notion that these truckers issued an MOU from the begging demanding the government resign and appoint an unelected committee is a non starter. To each their own but those who fought in those world wars prior fought for freedom and to keep our DEMOCRATIC WAY of life not for people to overthrow the duly elected government over personal gripes. None of us like this covid mandate stuff but occupying a city of working class people in Ottawa hostage like this is wrong.
