@@dankubinec5170 he brought in the rules that changed it. Instigator mostly. Thats why crosby missed almost 2 years. No protection. Would have never happen to wayne mario or steve or sakic.

Hockey was a lot better until he ruined it all. He pretty much killed the game and even killed the players careers with the concussion issue which he made worse than better. That’s what happens when he nobody listens to Don Cherry. Grapes knows what’s best for hockey, but Bettman doesn’t.

@@tomace194 Actually it was Gil Stein who made the instigator rule official in the NHL, he started the ruin of the game before Bettman ruined it more in the process. If I was commissioner, my first act is to abolish the instigator rule for good and everybody will be happy.
