Even If he was alive it wouldn't be the same.

Light that came from everywhere drove shadows from the room,
Jesus stood before me with his arms held open wide,
And I fell down on my knees and clung to him and cried,
He raised me to my feet and as I looked into his eyes,

Guilt and my confusion disappeared in sweet release,
And every fear I'd ever had just melted into peace.

My wife is still praying that The Gaither Homecoming will go to at least one Native American Indian Reservation. She says that The Gaither Homecomings have been held here in The U.S.A. in several places, and in many places worldwide, why not for The First Nations, The Original Peoples(a.k.a. Way we did it in the 70s! Fun fact, his father, Clyde, was professor at Golden Gate Baptist Seminary for decades, Old Testament I may recall, who preached his last sermon, sat down in the pulpit chair, and died. As an old Texas Baptist preacher, that's how I want to go!

I remember hearing Don sing this song when I was a child. It's stayed with me ever since. As an adult I feel the Holy Spirit and it brings me to tears every time I hear it. Praise God for Jesus! If not for Jesus we would be so lost. Thank you Lord Jesus! I love you so very much! ❤
