Just to let you know, I took Don Francisco's music to heart. In 1978, and loved all his music. It drew me closer to Jesus and at 68 years old I still listen to his music. Seems the Church does not appreciate " old music" but if they ever use me for praise and worship I will proudly play Don's music.

When I was 12, 13, and 14... I had Terrible nightmares. Don Francisco's lullaby song was such a use in my life getting me from those years and eventually into salvation. I no longer fear. Great songs, just simple and concise, but packed full of truth and Spirit.

Praise the Lord I found this as so often Don Fransiscos songs ring in my spirit. I attended a concert in Minnesota in the 1980’s. I have his songs on record and cassette. The messages in his songs are powerful with the Holy Ghost anointing.

I came back to Jesus a short while ago. A prodigal daughter of sorts. After coming back to Jesus, I was put down and condemned by my Dad. He told me that it was in my mind, that Jesus was speaking to me. So I prayed that God would allow him to see The Father in me instead of me. I received a text from my Dad a couple of days ago telling me that he thanked God for me and that what I had told him that Jesus said was happening, was exactly correct. I just praise and honor the Lord. I also was addicted to smoking and God delivered me. Praise God in the Highest.

I met Don Francisco many years ago when he came to Scotland...I didn't go chasing experiences...I went to enjoy great Christian songs...God's Spirit came very powerfully that evening and I heard angelic sounds for about 20/25 mins..thought only a few minutes had passed...it was truly awesome.. no words can ever describe it and I'll never forget it...the love of God came among us..this was not man made...thank you Jesus for Don being a faithful son and singing of your truth.

I worked at a small machine shop and was bringing a stack of Bible books to read on my lunch break. The owner and his son were the only 2 other people who worked there and one day when it was just me and the old man I asked him if he had any religious beliefs. I heard some racists remarks from him and was waiting for an opening and he said I believe when you die, your soul, if you want to call it that goes to some magnetic force in space. I said just because you believe it doesn’t make it true. His response seemed like God put me on the spot to see where I stood. He said, out of all the religions in the world are you telling me that yours is the only one that is right? I felt like it was a test and I said, yes it is. Thanks. I learned "He's Alive" ~35 years ago because I wanted to play and sing it in church, which I did today -- for the first time. The song has much more meaning for me now, which probably explains why I was not chosen to play it in church at the time I was performing in lounges in Las Vegas. However, after hearing someone else perform it on Easter Sunday in the "mega-church" I attended, I played it at my gig that evening - at The Library Pub and Buttery, which used to be at the corner of Las Vegas Blvd and Sahara. Most of what was on the Las Vegas strip 35 years ago is no longer there. I'm glad I am not! "He's Alive" has much more meaning to me now, and so does your testimony.

Now why judge, once we realize we were also blind, dead, and lost, and hideous too? We were running away, not fearing God, nor seeking Him. He begins a good work or labor of Love in us, and then sets about renewing our minds by this same spirit that blows withersoever it wills, making each of us a beautiful creation that only He truly knows the depths of all the beauty we will behold in each other in the eons to come and when a time clock is no longer needed. I don't think there is much difference to "The Spirit of The Lord is here, and He has commanded me," and "The Spirit of The Lord is here, and He has anointed me." The fact is, if God calls you to do it, He is going to give you the anointing to do it. A similar thing happened, except for a slight doctrinal change, when a committee to put together a new hymnal with the Presbyterian Church in America (I believe it was the Presbyterian Church in America and not U.S.A.), when they wanted permission from Stewart Townsend to change the words of his song "In Christ Alone". Stewart wrote, in the second verse, "Till on that Cross, as Jesus died, the wrath of God was satisfied," to, "Till on that Cross, as Jesus died, the love of God was magnified." There is a big doctrinal difference in those two phrases. Yes, the love of God WAS magnified, but the fact of the matter was, it was the death of Jesus on the Cross, that satisfied the wrath of God. That is a very important doctrinal FACT, and I appreciate the fact that Stewart didn't buckle. Don, I love you and your music. I shook hands with you once, back in 1985 in Tucson, Arizona, and I'll never forget that night; I was very very blessed. But I actually do prefer the word commanded in that song, because I think a lot of people throw the word anoint and all of the variations of it, in ways that are overboard. It has nothing to do with the word itself, but the fact that there is much presumption with some people, in that, they don't understand the sovereignty of God. God has His picks and choices, and the Bible says that. He makes the decisions, and He runs the show. And I for one am very glad that He has put people like Don Francisco into the show, because He has seen that He can trust Don with such a delicate thing, such as ministry. Keep on keepin' on, Don. I know that you'll praise Him as long as He giveth you breath.

Maybe it would've helped Don to go to a good bible seminary. He'd know that Isaiah 61 is referring strictly to Jesus, as "the anointed one of God". If you have received the Holy Spirit, then you have also been anointed by God, but that does not make you "the Anointed One". That title strictly pertains to Jesus, and Him alone.
