I bet the book was inspired by that Voynich Manuscript book or whatever. Also, 2:20 Youe say western HEMISPHERE, but it's important to know, as you mentioned previously in the video, that the book documents the SHORELINE on Lake Mobius. Things deeper into the Dark Continent could be even crazier.

And we also know that theres other places that aren't as explored as the settled world, just like the fake dark continent they are going to now. It could have been written about his experiences in one of these unsettled lands, maybe even what is now a settled land but was made safe by Don

Three Types are said to need Image-Training, but one is different, yes? Conjuration and Transmutation always need it, every Hatsu involving these needs Image-Training, but Manipulation is technically only said to need it for People-Manipulation as a 'Medium'. It never says Elemtn-Benders, Memory-Manipulators and really anyone who isnt doing Brainwashing specifically, needs an "Object they are intimately familiar with for Years"

fun thing you did not mention is that all of the information in the book isnt actually about the entire dark continent or like hemisphere. but about just the coastline of lake mobius the lake in which the "normal world" lies. Don Freecs is just walking along this coast finding all of these amazing things and disasters. and the journey of east is just him having walked a semi cirkel of the east side of the like.

I wonder if climate , nature of species in Western half is opposite of Eastern one or will it be just an extension of East. Instead of being a cruel, dangerous world full of deadly species, the western half is more habitual kind of like Heaven vs Hell if you wanna be simple. The creatures here are more peaceful and harmless in general, unless you provoke them. But , it is possible that place had a twisted form where, it's existence is actually detrimental for all creatures livin' in it but they just don't realise it. ( similar to Hell's Paradise plot) It could take form where the island is deceiving the creatures and the creatures are shrewd, they appear friendly and harmless but don't mean any good. Where as on Eastern half most things clearly Look dangerous and are easier to avoid, they are more straightforward. Eg: Like there might be a lake of poison that's visble discoloured, releasing pungent smell etc v/s A Lake whose water looks and tastes identical to normal water but has tasteless odourless poison.

Hunter hunter has the best plot lines that go NOWHERE and its kinda heartbreaking. Making 11% progress per year through an arc has just killed this series for me. Content creators have made every piece of content possible about this story and i just feel bad for them. Liking an author who wont or cant finish there work is the WORST fate, game of thrones berzerk and hxh, stay away from me at this point
