I'm a country girl, born with dirt between my toes. 35 years ago a city boy came to my home for dinner. It was our first date. He never left. This song holds special meaning for us.

Now here are 2 voices that compliment each other magically, even over Lindsey's.

Here you have two people who took off in the 70's with bluesy, rocky, gravely ( in a nice way) voices that sooooo compliment each other. Love both of them individually but as a duet it gives me chills.

This was from Stevie's solo debut album, Bella Donna, in 1981. When Stevie broke up with Lindsay Buckingham, she dated Don Henley for 2 years. This was Henley's first hit single after leaving The Eagles. Stevie's vocals are so cativating, with the lyrics mesmerizing and the wonderful guitar work. Then Don joins in. Fabulous duet. Next Don's "Boys of Summer" would be delightful. Great reaction Harri. Thanks Harri and Brandon. 👏 Cheers from Canada 🇨🇦

Stevie and Don had relationship in mid 70s,when they recorded this.(But the song was not put on album until early 80s). You can feel their heart pouring in this song.

Nobody sounds like the voice of Stevie Nicks. Or for that matter, of Don H. Great stuff this pop tune from the 80's

Nice pick, Brandon. I won’t go into the details of Stevie & Don’s relationship. It’s rather shocking but now that Stevie has “told all” a coupla years back, I suppose it explains why they broke up in the late ‘70s. Thanks, Harri for the reaction.

Anything by Stevie is a good choice. If you haven't heard it, the LP BUCKINGHAM NICKS is the first (and only) recording of the duo. This is the record that Mick Fleetwood heard when he was looking for a new guitar player for Fleetwood Mac that made him ask Lindsey to join the band. Lindsay told him he and Stevie were a package deal. Lindsay's solo on the song, Frozen Love was what convinced him. It's a good listen.

I heard this the first time as a kid driving up into the Colorado Rockies and it started to snow on the pines at the first note The western sounding steel guitar, the beauty out the window A moment that scraped the gunk of my mind to sit pretty as a beautiful memory

This song was written by Waylon Jennings about his wife Jessie Coulter. He wanted Stevie to do it with Tom Petty, but it just didn't sound right. Stevie suggested Don Henley. The rest .....

I've actually done some fact checking on this. Waylon called Stevie and asked her to write this song. She did. She was dating Don Henley at the time. And while she was writing it, he came in every day and said that's terrible. Start over. So, he didn't write the song, but he's responsible for the song we don't hear. Lol. According to Stevie herself. This was for Waylon and Jessie.

Harri, are you going to catch BETH HART in the UK this month. Did she give you tickets? (London is already sold out, but she might be able to get you in). You should prep by reacting to "Caught Out in the Rain" from the 2018 Royal Albert Hall concert (kzbin.info/www/bejne/oqvHe5ltfdanqs0). Love Stevie Nicks--saw her 3 times back in the mid 80's & early 90's--but this song is a little too tame.
