Phillip Michael Thomas was quite impressive here When he suddenly slipped into a Hitchcock improvisation that was unexpected He was also dressed appropriately for the gala occasion Johnson looked, sounded & acted like he couldn't seperate Don Johnson from Sonny Crockett 😂

My god this takes me back to my childhood! I remembering flipping out as a 5 year old seeing an NBC x-mas special where Mr.T, The Huxstables, The Keatons, Michael Knight, Alf, and Crockett and Tubbs were all on stage together! Truly epic moment in tv.

I am only 16, and I love all these shows. Miami Vice is my favorite TV show, along with Crime Story and Dukes of Hazzard and the classic 1966 Batman with Adam West, I know that all these shows weren't on NBC but I had to mention some of my favorites.

The best damn tv show there ever was. Only wish Vice would have went more than only 5 seasons. Philip Michael Thomas has always had the best attitude about the show than anyone by always saying how utterly grateful he was for the show and all it did for him (made them all millionaires), and how he also wished it could have continued on another several seasons (or more). PMT became a sorely under appreciated actor after Vice :(

I totally agree. I also think Vice *could* have continued on another couple seasons or three had the writing not gone to pot. After season two the primary camera operator had changed, and by season four Jan Hammer was no longer scoring the show. John Peterson and Tim Truman did a great job but that unique Vice sound was gone. The look of the show was different and some of the characters had changed too much :(

Thank you, for posting this video. All my favorite TV stars and TV shows all in one happy family. This is what the 80s was all about. This was the 80s I remember. Had Miami Vice continued for 5 more years, there would have been another All Star TV Special but this time with the cast of Frasier, Blossom, The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air, Seinfeld, A Different World and Saved By the Bell and Spin City. Could you imagine Don Johnson giving advice to Will Smith and Philip Michael Thomas and Alfonso Ribeiro ( Carlton ) in a breakdance contest ? Olivia Brown, Saundra Santiago and Aunt Viviene ( Fresh Prince of Bel-Air) singing on stage. Jerry Seinfeld, Kramer, Elaine and George Constanza busted by Switek and Zito for traffic violation and lastly Frazier, trying to have a conversation with Castillo because, he doesn't like to talk a lot. It would have been hilarious. NBC's went from " Be There" to "T.G.I.F." to " Must See TV" ! Not sure about T.G.I.F. wasn't it from ABC ? I have to check that one. Update : T.G.I.F. was from ABC !
