The vibe of this podcast breathes greatness. I find the questions to be thoughtfully crafted, and it's fascinating to witness two talented people so deeply engaged in the conversation. I feel that if you just keep going stoically, this entity-the podcast itself-will gradually develop its own unique and indescribable life and essence even more. 😊

Not only is Matt Friend’s impersonation of Trump great - Shane Gillis also does an outstanding one, telling jokes as Trump - what makes Matt’s impersonation special is that he really gets into character. He says things that Trump would actually say.

@lisalivingston64734 ай бұрын
@alisong2328 I agree...it is spooky how well Matt nails Trump's voice and mannerisms, but for his sake, I hope he can evolve and expand his repertoire. I think it would be disappointing if Matt continued to be known mainly for his great impersonation of a former President and convicted felon...Matt is much too talented to allow himself to be pigeon-holed in that way. His Howard Stern, Andy Cohen and Mitch McConnell impressions are spot on, as well!

Matt, I really enjoyed this interview. I loved the advice Don Lemon shared with you, and your willingness to listen and consider it. I thought you seemed comfortable chatting with Don, and your impersonations were introduced into the conversation at perfect intervals during your podcast. I laughed when Don called out the closeted Republicans who act with a combination of creepiness and superiority over people. The sad thing is that it is not a crime to be gay, and if these men would simply live authentically and true to themselves, they could probably be much happier. The gay lifestyle may not fit with the MAGA crowd, but maybe that is a good thing. I agree with Don...I long for the day when traditionally conservative Republicans will regain control of their party and allow the Trump era and MAGA movement to wither away and be remembered as a fraught and damaging time in our country's history.

Matt Friend is totally mesmerizing. His focus is surgical but he makes it look so simple, the dude is a genius. It's not a wonder why Bill Maher told Matt, "dude you got it, you already won, you're set, you're the type that is going to keep going, or something like that. Its true you can tell. Matt got his own new Show, on the Bill Maher Network, Premiere Show interview with Bill Maher is not that good only becuz Matt has to spend time with mandatory ass kissing, as deserved as one does, ok fine, but we don't care !! we want to see COMEDY On the reverse the show where Matt Friend was the guest with Bill Maher as the host now that's where Matt killed.

Tucker has an estimated net worth of 50m, but it likely is much more than that. Yet, he calls out Don Lemon for living the "elite high life" in the Hamptons. Give me a break! Also, Carlson knew that disclosing where Lemon lives would result in potential harm to Lemon and his neighbors. Maybe, Carlson was hoping something happened to Lemon. Carlson is a perfect example of an unserious pundit who can cause serious harm to others.
@lisalivingston64734 ай бұрын
@Soylntgrnisppl I wish congress would pass a law making it a crime to dox people. It is a dangerous practice, not only for the victims, but for law enforcement that must respond when people are attacked in their own homes. It is so dangerous that whenever someone feels vengeful against another, they can simply choose to dox them (sometimes anonymously) and suffer no consequences for such reckless behavior. I think the lack of skillful and civil debate often devolves into the use of violence against perceived enemies, and I wish our leaders could step up and set a better example for people to aspire to.

In my opinion, the fancy pronunciation of Lemon is a compliment and reminds me of the "Grey Poupon" commercial. I disagree with Don Lemon's political views, but I think he is very handsome, refined and polished, and he has savoir-faire. Gay has zero to do with it. I could easily see Don Lemon cast as a very wealthy, hoity-toity man wearing an ascot tie sipping his coffee looking out his window of his mansion with his professional maids and butlers around him asking, "What's with the riff-raff?" as he sees characters like Will Farrell and John C. Reilly from the movie "Step Brothers" arrive and bumbling in front of his home. I think Don Lemon cast as that type of character would be hysterical! I don't know Tucker Carlson or what is inside his head, but I do see the pronunciation as "fancy," but in a positive, complimentary way. Lemon is wealthy, fancy Grey Poupon.
