I know this was 2 years ago but I'm going to go ahead and say, that I'm so very sorry for your loss because I know all too well how raw that pain still is 2 years in. And what a devastating pain that truly is. I lost my younger sister, who's name was also, Lisa, 8 years ago. She was my only biological sibling and the only one that I was really close to. There is nothing quite like losing a sibling. They are your very first friends, the only person who goes through the same things as you do, therefore, knows exactly how you feel. Losing a sibling is special kind of hell. As you grow up, you come to expect and accept that your parents will die before you. Ultimately, one of the things that eased my mind about this was knowing that my sister would be there and we could lean on each other for comfort. But nothing and I mean.... NOTHING prepares you to lose a sibling. The way I quantify that pain, it's not quite as bad as losing a child and so much worse that losing a parent.
