Lemon Hart 151 is actually a legitimately tasty rum, though definitely still hot. So if this hasn't put you off of rum, give that a shot sometime! And don't forget the whole world of Jamaican overproofs, like Wray & Nephew or Smith & Cross!

Online there are these molecular seive balls that are safe to pour in your drink. They have microscopic holes the size of water molecules. And they only absorb water. So you can concentrate any alcoholic beverage to up to as high as you want to go. So you can make your own 151 without the fear of fire. You just dump them in. And shake the bottle alot. Then pour the liquid through like a funnel or filter and collect the beads. Let the beads dry off and put them back in if you want it even higher. Takes a few cycles but I made 80 proof Miller light once

Kraken is much safer and less gross tasting tbh. Sure it's still gonna knock you out, but you can tell when. 151 just blacks your lights out without a warning.

TXBHenleyFan I barely drink, but think mixology is cool (especially drinks as old as the daiquiri/margarita. 2 groups in slightly different places came up with the same basic formula at the same time. Sweetener, lime juice, and local spirit. In mainland mexico that was agave nectar and tequila, in the islands it was sugar and sugarcane rum)
