The Late Late Show with Craig Ferguson Interview with Don Rickles September 30, 2014

Even at 88 he's all there mentally and funny as hell as per usual. Standing ovation as he barely made it to his chair for the interview. One of the if not THE funniest comedians I've ever seen. People including me really really loved him. His act is so unusual. First of all not scripted, all off the top of his head. He honed and fined tuned the part of his brain that is not supposed to be seen or heard, at least not in public. And he made it uproariously hilarious.

Craig is brilliant. What always puzzled me was why he thought he had to have gimmicks like the weird robot, the two person horse, the mug and whatever else there was. A straight talk show would have sufficed because he was so sharp and naughty.

I only discovered Don Rickles after he passed away, I didn’t know he was the voice of Mr. Potato-Heat in Toy Story. Now I’m HOOKED on his appearances on Johnny Carson, David Letterman, Craig Ferguson etc. When roasted people it was always in good fun and had class to it. One of kind🙏🏻!

Cellulitis? Perhaps. Not that hard to pronounce, but unfortunately very common in older people and people with weaker immune systems. Often ignored, because we all ignore a pimple, right? Until it spreads. Fast. And before you know it you're in an emergency situation. It can put you in the hospital in as little as 4 days. That's why you have to get it treated as soon as you see a red, swollen area around a skin lesion. I've tangled with it enough to know.

It's still not something I'd say even as a joke.I don't think Rickles would even say that, too harsh.
@jessica54975 жыл бұрын
@@joet840 It's a joke (dark humor) where he satirized all the sick format that these show are, whoever watched it knows he was fantastic in that sense of satirizing and deconstructing. Craig called himself a hobo or a paid hooker sometimes.. the people who would watch him, enjoy the show and all these jokes, sometimes he would say he had offered chicken to them so they were there, but had no chicken hahah I was in the audience that day. nothing disrespectful, just humor. He is a fantastic guy with the audience.
@750acfarednasty5 жыл бұрын
@@joet840 And that's one of the reasons you're not a comedian. Comedians have said way worse things about audiencemembers...
