Mom and Dad, saw Don Rickles in Vegas in 50s. They said it was the funniest show they'd ever seen. Over the years they saw him 3 more times, Dad always got as close as he could hoping he'd be insulted by Don. He never did, but like me, he loved Don Rickels. I saw Rickles in a hotel show in Atlantic City In the early 1980s when I was a teenager. He was hysterical, insulting everyone at once with funny remarks, but he had a beautiful heart. Then throughout the performance, not once was he being mean or hurtful while he insulted person after person in the audience in the small venue where I saw him perform. Fantastic show.

i was born in the 80s so rickles was someone i learned because of youtube and watching old movies. but years a go i got a chance to see him. i was worries it was going to flop because hes much older. but OMG!!! at his age the man is still sharp as a whip and funny if not funnier than ever. he then came our with a book and then i got to see him again ..drove last min to RI to see him and got him to sing my book. he is so funny!! im so happy i got to see him because he really is very rare talent. while he was signing he was making fun of everyone around him we where all in tears laughing so hard!
