What I have always loved about Don Rickles’ roasting is that he always gives a really sweet closing speech after he’s done roasting people. Best of all? No cussing and lewd jokes at all, just pure quick wits to make people genuinely laugh. RIP Don, you’re the king of roasting comedy.

No lewd jokes? Have you been listening to any of the roasts? They are talking about young girlfriends for old dudes and wives having their boyfriends and so on. "No cussing" is just a puritanical way of saying "I only like insults when they dont have naughty words ... because those words are naughty", the point of a roast is insulting people (in good fun) and that is the point of swear words as well ... Many of todays "jokes" are PRIMITIVE ... but the choice of words doesnt matter.

+crobarus This is not the place for politics, but in respect for Sinatra and the rest of the Greats in this video, I'll give warning and respond below as to not take away form the point of this great video. There's a time and place for politics, comedy should make fun of politics and expose the ridiculousness, not debate them. I can't believe that psychotic bitch Hillary isn't in jail. Instead, SHE"S RUNNING FOR PRESIDENT! How fucking ignorant and stupid can people really be? They voted for George Bush TWICE! After he set that train wreck precedent the first time, they RE-ELECTED his immature, spoiled ass A-FUCKING-GAIN! That sniveling little, snot-nosed shit head and Cheney used OUR TAX DOLLARS TO KICK THE WHOLE CHARADE OFF and then made BILLIONS of our family and friends who were American soldiers at the time. They made billions off their blood and then LIED, LIED, LIED to the The US people & soldiers! THEY WORK FOR US! WE ARE THE EMPLOYERS, THEY ARE THE GOD DAMN EMPLOYEES! We need to remind them of that! The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time with the blood of patriots and tyrants. Si Vis Pacem Parabellum/If you want peace, prepare for war!
