Its tuned way down to CGCGCC and he plays the two higher strings a lot which gives it a nice full 12 string sound. He's the man.

I love to tune my 12 string to Open C and play it in this tuning plus this song! Andrew Ellis does a cover of this song with a 12 string acoustic and it sounds great but it's not played real fast like this! 🎸🎶🎶

Buy his live DVD. It is so worth it. I watched it on a HD TV and surround sound....its as close as you'll get to a concert. I also learned about a bunch of his other songs. It really opens you up to Don and his amazing talent

Just have to say that Don Ross is truly one of my favourite guitar players ever. Not primarily for his tecnical skill, which is ridiculously good, but primarily for his style and sound which, for me, is just outstandingly and utterly incredible. His sound is very powerful and original and it's something that really excites me and catches my interest. Not a lot of music has this profound impact on me, even if I like almost all music there is.

I used to feel the same about compositions like this in my limited years of experience, and have found that it is much better to look up on them than to look down on yourself.
