This is my favorite song, period. Like, if I had to be left on a desert island with only one song to listen to for the rest of my life, this would be it...

My favorite part about this video is watching Don Ross play this song with such ease and placidity, yet the music itself conveys a tonal intensity that would suggest something else. Man, I just love this song so much.

That version is probably the greatest song ever. It tops the "Most PLayed" list on my itunes library by a couple hundred. Oh just to be there for that session!! Man that would have been something..!!

I didn't expected that Don would put this song on youtube. One of my fav songs, but when I saw this tune on a concert with Jordan O'Connor - it was sooooo stunning. The solo that Don played was amazing. Thanx Don!

Don Ross is one of the most amazing acoustic guitar players that has ever lived. If you have the chance to see him live at some point I suggest you jump all over the opportunity! I remember seeing him play this song with Jordon O'Connor on upright bass in Peterborough, ON when I was attending university there and this song is still my favourite of his. Sometimes, with Don's music, it sounds like there is more than one guitar doing the playing...

you're absolutely right there this song and klimbim are my favourites by don ross thin air is my favourite guitar piece to play ever the melodic architecture and beautiful harmonics incorporated in this song are almost hypnotising. ive lost count of how many times ive heard this and i havent grown less fond of it at all. much love Don

did anyone else notice the similarity of one riff in the end to the chorus of 'honestly' by the cary brothers? the way don ross moves his fingers on his right hand completely independently of one another is an art to behold...this song has all of the typical Don Ross signatures...the deep, meaningful, dreamy chord progressions, the almost carelessly transparent storytelling style, the powerful, the way dynamics of each note is precisely, almost coincidentally gluing the entire vibe together...this guy is a genius

He *is* that good. Of the numerous freakish aspects one could comment on about Don Ross' play, his crispness and tone is probably the one that stands out the most and totally separates him from most other guitarists.

this kind of music has so much emotional depth, those are special harmonies. a lot of bands use those kind of harmionies in rock music too, it's kind of "new age" music. a lot is played in DADGAD tuning
