This needs to be part of EVERY financial literacy class. And a really good reality check for audiences starting to get into the coupon/clearance shopping game. Unfortunately, common sense isn’t common and reminders need to be shared across the board. Happy hunting and Conscientious shopping to everyone. ❤️✌️

Rite aid closed 5 or 6 years ago in Georgia. I will admit the prices are higher. However, corporate greed is an issue as well. With that being said, many people are buying new cars and traveling. We will be leaving for our 3rd vacation of the year in December. One thing I know for sure. Donald Trump is not the answer.

@@nichellw2077everything is tough right now for sure! But you are correct that trump is NOT going to fix it. What I’m reading is that trump plans to raise the tariff - which means other countries raise their prices - and who pays those prices? We do! Corporate greed and the higher ups bragging about how much they are raising their prices are the enemies.

Jobs are being lost, companies going out of business, and prices are rising 😢 couponing should be a way of life if you can do it. Especially at stores like cvs and Walgreens where you can get great deals on deodorant and other items with cash back offers and rewards as well 😊 thank you for all you do

Yes something is cooking. The Bible tells us that things will get worse and worse. I want to stock up on things but most of all I want to be ready to meet the Lord whenever He comes or calls for me. I appreciate that you tell us about great deals. It really helps. ❤

Couponers see the price increases easier than the general public because we do the same deals over and over and have the prices ingrained in our minds. It is bad right now.

It’s super important to not spend money on something you don’t need just because it’s a sale or a deal. If money is tight be mindful of doing a deal it will come around again. My hubby is out of work and we didn’t see that coming so I’m extra cautious now. Thanks for your videos 😊

SPOT ON with this one. I have rarely ever found deals at Big Lots. I do shop there occasionally, but it's certainly not my go to store. Your also spot on with the economy. Those of us that have been on this earth for more years than we care to mention see that.

I only went to big lots today for toilet paper and paper towels because I was able to stack a 20% off coupon and a $10 off $40 coupon that were sent to my email....other than that I wouldn't step foot in there.

Yeah, something is cooking and it smells bad Rachel I broke my foot five weeks ago. I’m a waitress. I have been eating on my job at least five days a week for the last year. I am considering going to the food pantry because I’m not making tips I’m getting Worker’s Comp. but that’s only 66% of my pay. I’ve never seen rental prices at what they are and next week I find out if they’re going to destroy my apartment complex to build new more expensive housing yeah something is cooking and I don’t like that smell of it. I’ve never made money like what I make now and I can’t afford to eat. 😢 If I can’t use it I can’t by it …. Food gas house that’s what’s needed 😢 just a little sidenote, and I doubt you ever even see this. You have no idea the amount of times you have literally saved people from being able to have the items they need or not having them at all. You are using your natural born gift of thriftiness, and you are sharing it with the rest of us, and that is one hell of a gift, my dear I know I’m not the only one out here on the struggle bus and I know I’m not the only one who has been grateful for your videos❤

Go to the food bank and stock up on food. Don't feel bad about it either. Take care of yourself any way you can right now. That's why these systems were set up. You've paid into it so use it.

@@activistgranny2.066 hon, I was always very fortunate and was able to donate to the food pantries for the last decorator so I have no shame in going. I’m actually waiting on a friend to come pick me up because I cannot drive my right foot is the one that got broke on a positive note I do not need surgery, and I should be able to return back to work in a full capacity within a month… I feel no shame saying hey I need the assistance right now. It sort of why I am still waiting tables at 50 I can eat daily usually a really decent meal save that money pay off debt because just because I’m a grandma now doesn’t mean I can’t buy my first home won’t be where I live because property prices are outrageous, but the fact remains over the last 3 1/2 years I have never made the money I make, and I have never paid the prices we are paying Thank you for your encouraging words thing of it is is there there are other people out there who are literally the same shoes and they don’t need to have the shame about it either ❤️ I hope you have an amazing day

The economy is not perfect, never has been. What amazes me is all of the people who can afford NFL football tickets, concerts, resort vacations, abundance of alcohol, jewelry/piecings/beautiful body art, and massive cart-fulls at Sam's and Costco. Who are these people? What do they do for a living? They cannot be the same people floating from place to place. I am very frugal and can say that my households is not stuggling (knock on wood), but it's hard for me to buy into a bad economy when I see so many others spending freely and lavishly.

Was talking to a employee at Walgreens she is a pharmacist they cut her hours so now she’s working the register times are hard and probably only going to get worse couponing can become very addicting been keeping a budget was realizing I was spending too much money. Thank you for a great video.❤

You have to wait at liquidation sales until the discounts start rising… At my local Rite Aid it went up every week, and stuff only really started moving at 30-40% off.

We are in a recession (with a D and double p). Nobody wants to say it but it’s true. If no one is paying attention to many other nations working diligently to get out from under the petroleum dollar - they are on the verge of succeeding. Probably within six months. People don’t want to see what’s right in front of them. Buffet is dumping his assets left and right. It’s there if you look. Thanks for being honest and giving good advice. And posting all the deals. You help more than you know!

Walmart is always my gauge on pricing at other stores. I was a broke couponer when I started. I did all the deals. I missed nothing. A bit wiser now. Only things I will use.

we are in a greedflation period right now, every CEO thinks he should be making $65 million a year. simple fact profits are crazy high in every sector. consumers need to stop buying over priced stuff. ask mc Donald's they over priced the market and sales have dropped.

yes I will not buy anything that is overpriced. I wait for a sale or shop around. I walked out of subway one day because they said they cannot accept the coupons that subway sent in the mail, the cashier told me they were losing too much money, well if your food sits there and spoils, you are going to lose more.

Big Lots is overpriced It says up to 40%. That means it could be 5% or 10%. Leave it! I agree they are misleading. They are shipping other stores.

I like to go through my pantry rotate stuff around and if it's getting close to the date and I know I'm not going to eat it I drop it off at the little pantries.

I’m being very careful in my spending. Especially if it’s coming out of my pocket on things I don’t need. So I wait until I have rebate money and use it with coupons to make sure I’m not wasting out of my pocket on things I don’t need. I’m focusing on things my family needs or will need and take advantage on sales as long as I have rebate money. That’s how I’m helping myself 🙏🏻
