I just want to say thank you so much! I am in New York right now from California and I took your advice and learned how to take the shuttle in one of your videos and without you showing me exactly what to do I would never have been able to do that on my own and would have spent a fortune on lyft or Uber, or whatever, so thank you so much for your videos. It helped me a lot!

Also, isn’t the City Pass time limited? That you need to do all the experiences in like 2 or so days? So at the end you may not be able to do all that you pick

Great helpful video all newbies to nyc should see. Took my husband for his first trip recently and he got all the Times Square scams tried on him (I don’t even look at them lol they back away Kuantan have a face like thunder 😂) have to say nyc has changed for the worse since before covid 10 even 5 years ago nyc seemed a much nicer place. Now so much more homeless and addicts on the street, everywhere smells disgusting of weed or of urine near Central Park, many older delis before gone replaced with weed shops my hubby sadly hated ny and have to say ,y beloved New York has turned into a bit of a dump 😕can see why Sarah moved away

I would say if you want to see the Statue of Liberty to the New York City ferry from Barry Park on 39th St., you get amazing photos of New Jersey Colgate sign. You will also see the statue of you and do some shopping in the Empire outlet mall. The boat is clean not a lot of tourist.

The special baby foof one is an old and obvious scam...the first clue is " special" and only available at specific location. The amount asked for increases....

Ellis Island has hours of amazing history (if reading is your thing) so wave at the Statue of Liberty as you go to Ellis Island.

Rhe "bump" and demand payment thing happened to my dad before - except he was exiting a taxi and opened the door and a group of guys came out of their car and said he knicked it

I’m slightly confused, in one section of your video you’re saying going to Ellis Island and the SOL is overrated and not worth it but then when you’re talking about the City Pass you are endorsing it as a choice and a go to. I really enjoy your channel as myself and my partner are out in New York (staying in Brooklyn) for 6 nights at the end of next week so keep up the great work, I was just confused that one minute the SOL is overrated then down the line you’re saying it’s worth it. 🤷🏼

The City Pass was to compare the pass vs actually paying the individual price. The pas had no other option than to go to Ellis Island or SOL for that line. She even said, don't buy the City Pass, which makes it even more of an option to not go to those islands.

Me in April from UK. Been watching loads of YT NY tips & warnings. I want too see all the classic places that I saw in the movies last century. I will also hate it too. My Edinburgh is the same in the summer. Don't be a tourist, just be a visitor.

Subway scam they sell unlimited metro card worth a month for 60 and the offer to show you the card on the machine scan it shows a month worth but then after you use it they cancel it because they buy with a credit card it gets cancelled and stop working

50:40 As an Viennese I must say: That Schnitzel isn't fine at all, it would fit right into the subreddit "SchnitzelCrimes" r/SchnitzelVerbrechen/ Sauce is an absolute NO on a breaded Schnitzel that's supposed to be crispy, and the crust isn't golden brown but looks burnt, the side dishes don't fit at all. I'm looking forward to visiting NY soon - and eating anywhere else.

Girl, you were scammed!! No stranger (unless homeless) is going to ask a random stranger for money. For formula or whatever the case is.... friends, family, etc. Are the first ppl someone would ask, not a random

You were scammed especially when you went to the store and his baby's formula wasn't there! All formulas are displayed ...I'm 68 ,had 5 kids,11 grands hail from the Rockaways ..your too trusting ..but love your tour videos..
