EVERYTHING he has said here is so brilliant and necessary

I should add life is about adversity, not getting your way is a part of that. You people need to grow up. If you’re an environmentalist for example, start a business that competes in the market by going green. Invent a technology that makes things cleaner or more efficient. Getting others to sacrifice for your version of change is like watching a child battle over bed time

Activism is the new "normal". - Ours isn't even the 1st generation of people who were raised to be good environmental/social/political activists. My parents gave up their dreams to become loyal activists...

This is one of the most underrated Ted talks. Why am I just seeing this?

I agree with most things, but I think microaggressions are a really grey area just because, we should learn about eachother. Just ignoring social norms don't make them better.

I wrote out a huge comment on this page, and coming back, I can only see it when I'm logged in. Was it deleted? Does TEDx Talks not like differing opinions on their pages?

I've also had this happen.

They didn't like your opinion. The private company argument works both ways I guess.

I don't disagree, but it would be lazy, cowardly, immoral, and unethical to not take action against that which would be detrimental if unhindered. And anyways, I'm not afraid of a challenge. Also, I could give a damn how it makes me feel, I will hold steadfast as long as I am doing the right thing.

Agreed with every premise, disliked his attitude. No need to shout or interact oddly with a crowd to get your point across.

He's definitely not an artist. He has difficulty speaking and expressing what he has to say, and what he has to say is stated in vague generalities and without structure.

Same here. Bad strategy to get your point across. Drives the attention on the performance rather than the content. Actually made it difficult for me to concentrate on the content so I ended up turning down the volume and turning on captions to follow it.

took one second to see between this guy. just anther person pulling our country apart. then to see his rederict was displayed on ted. wasnt surpring. keep up the ryhme. well here is the riddle. try and show social differences between people and create hatred towards another in the disguise of activision. then make it ryhme and look good with an american looking asian to show political correctedness.. Its simple, love each other and and stop hating
