The only rules I set to myself in coop are: 1. If someone joins the world earlier than me uses the character I want to farm friendship exp for, I adjust. (I only coop for friendship exp) 2. Never comment on other player's choice of character or force them to use a particular element. (Except if there are slimes or specters, I remind people)

Someone complained about me using Kaeya and then Dendro Traveler in a domain the other day as if I wasn't dealing the most damage of anyone in that Co-Op. It's just wild to me that people think they can tell other players who to play. Especially if you're AR 45 ish and running these domains on the maximum level for the first time, let people who are carrying you play whoever they want.

Using an electro character for the Raiden Shogun weekly isn’t entirely such a bad thing. Since you need someone to immediately set up the shield to avoid her KO move. Yes, I know that Raiden has an electric res, but it’s optional to have one person be electro or use a diverse of elements to set up the shield. Though, this person (the Kuki Shinobu), just has skill issues or is just still learning her mechanics.

A couples times while going for artifacts, I have told people that they were dying a lot because they were using a cryo character… They didn’t know that the domain caused self-damage every time they inflicted cryo onto the enemy.

Okay, I’ve only told one person to change their character while we were doing a domain. That’s because it was geo traveler while we were in a smallish domain. After the first time we went through the domain I asked them politely to change geo traveler since it got annoying when I always accidentally climbed on the rocks. There really isn't any need to minimax in Genshin, and trying to push that in co op is really unnecessary. Let people play whoever they want, you never know if that Amber main will carry the team.

I love co op and I always let let the other person use the character they have if both of us have the same character for example if we both were using raiden I would let them be raiden and change to a different character because I can always play with raiden after co op

I only told people in co op to change their character in crimson domain, they usually used electro char but it's would be a bad idea tho cause overload in that domain will kill them instantly 😂
