Pulling off a piece of fuzz that Topps should have never left on in the first place is a stretch to call trimming. Tirmming is trying to correct an off centered card.

oh yeah, i forgot to read that part out loud from the dictionary. it did say that trimming is just trying to center a card.... and when did we expect topps to be perfect. you know they have variance on product and are aloud some errors. you think everytime they get a sticky corner they change the 10k blade... dont be stupid. thats why finding the perfect card is part of the journey. not changing the journey. but again, ill read the center is trimming in a new video.

I’m not defending anyone, but the video cut was the auto focusing on the video wigging out. The “fuzz” that is on every card. It’s just excess from where the card was cut. Almost every card has those and you just run your finger along the corner, how is that trimming?

Reread the definition... I truly hope it sinks in what trimming is... removing any undesirable portion of the edge... that removal of fuzz is trimming... is it ok to trim cards? Is it ok to clean cards?

Actually, that rough cut on vintage cards will bring up the grade. It's part of the manufacturing process, and a good grading company will be aware of this.

The fuzz didn't cause it to get a 6, I have sent in 2 cards in 2 different orders with a fuzz just like that one. They both got 10s. He could have probably gotten a 10 had he just cracked it out and resubmited as it was.

Shouldn't the leaders be held to a higher standard like in real life? Did you know Neo is an advocate for card cleaning? So, you tell me how many arguments are there?

You should probably stop submitting through TNT if you think removing fuzz is bad/altering. I guarantee you they're removing all that junk when sending in orders for clients. If you sub on your own, then I'd say you have more of an argument, but we know you use a 3rd party submitter, and you'd be naive to think they're not prepping cards.

I have had several cards that had the fuzz on the corner, it's cutting issue with the manufacturer, I have been able to lay some of them down with my finger and spit, some will not lay down, I don't trim them but I am sure it is more common than people want to admit.

@@vintagesportsshack What do you think is worse for this hobby? The card cleaning and trimming or the grading inconsistency with PSA. PSA in my opinion can't grade cards accurately. If you have graders that believe because a card is old that it is flawed and a newer card is great condition because it's ultra modern that's not a good grader in my opinion. I have a bunch of 90s cards that need to be cracked out and regraded when conditions are more favorable.

@@vintagesportsshack I agree, they have a lot of good things set up in my opinion but they get it wrong a lot in the grading. I don't like how a vintage 3 or 4 now would probably be a 5 or 6 in the old cases. I also think it's not good for the average person in the hobby paying top dollar for a high grade slab when the card is over graded. It leaves a bad taste in your mouth when you get ripped off. They need to train their graders better or have certain graders for each decade.

FAIR? As a viewer, I think you are over reacting just a little. Every one that opens a pack of cards, they literally have to use their hands to open and hold the cards to view and you might have to hold the edges.
