Sports cards are a type of investment just like gold is a type of investment. Not everybody that buys cards expects to make money flipping them every year just like people that buy gold don't expect to make money buying and selling it every year either. The people that bought cards 10-15 years ago when cards were not cool did pretty darn well selling them in 2021 and 2022. And gold was basically dead money from 2012 to 2022. Golds up 30% since 2022.

Covid was an anomaly.. check your purchasing power... compare dollar to dollar, sports cards are not an investment... gold at best is a hedge against inflation....

I bought a Nolan Ryan 1993 Ultra Strikeout Kings on eBay for about 4 dollars. It looked mint so I sent it in to PSA, it graded a 8 and cost me about 18 dollars to grade. It has a PSA estimate of 8 dollars.

@@vintagesportsshack I collect Nolan Ryan but when I saw what PSA estimated it's value at I was actually a little shocked. Kind of hard to justify sending them cards when they can literally cost you more money than they are worth.

I'm a Timmy buying WNBA cards right now to put away Like I did during junk wax. To me they are worth millions of $$$ or they are only worth burning to like a joint. Only time tells you who are going to the HALL! Fun video Brother.

Finally someone talked about the time u put into it, there’s no real money your going to make doing this buy raw to grade or slabs unless your putting 100k or more trying to get 10 percent profit each month be interesting if someone did a video and put there info on each card each month

Don’t ban me, but I just got to ask you something!😄🙏$900,000+ is unfathomable to me to pay of a single card, but what about these super old vintage cards like the 1933 Goudy Babe Ruth PSA 9, or the 1952 Topps Mickey Mantle PSA 9, or the 1909-11 T206 Honus Wagner SGC 3, which have all sold for MILLIONS? In your opinion, does a card justify a high price range if it’s vintage and in really good shape?

I have a hard time with that question. At what point does the.card become art?!?! I believe at some point there are factors that make it more like art I guess?!
