Also apostle Paul also writes “I have been crucified with Christ; it is no longer I who live, but Christ lives in me; and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave Himself for me.” Galatians 2:20 NKJV Be blessed!

Big Spoon I agree with you about that because Jesus gives us specific instructions that we repent believe and be baptized and we must endure to the end. In other words we must be born of the spirit. By doing this we accept him in our heart and no longer live for our flesh but for God.

Dumbest comment I ever heard. So you can commit murder commit adultury, steal, disrespect your parents, and worship other God's but if you believe In Jesus that nullifies all your sin. @scottm40425 жыл бұрын
@@jaysilva5854 A person must be "born again" (from John 3). This rebirth is a gift from God. God draws us and we respond. God's love is demonstrated to us in the sending of His Son, and the Son's willingness to lay down His life. Why? Because there is no other way for sinful man to dwell in the presence of a Holy God. If there was another way for salvation, Jesus would not have had to die. If a person will repent (change their thinking) and believe in their heart (put their trust in Jesus), not just say the words, they can be saved. There are also false conversions, where people didn't really believe that Jesus died for our sins, was buried, and rose again according to the scriptures. True believers learn how bad sin is, and want to live a life pleasing to God. And without faith, it is impossible to please God (from Hebrews 11:6). We can do nothing to earn salvation. By trying to, and many do, they are saying, Jesus death wasn't enough. If anyone relies on their own works, it's like people trying to jump the Grand Canyon, with only their strength. Some people may get farther than others, but all will fall short. "For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God;" (Romans 3:23).

HE created you, along with everything else that HE called Good. We are our own destruction when we want to play god, and we are soiling creation with us. But our GOD is so rich in Mercy and a Faithful Father that HE has appointed a Day of Wrath where every evil will be wiped away and all sons of disobedience will get what they deserve. Humble your heart fully, Trust only in JESUS CHRIST, and depart fully from ALL sins. We don't have time anymore and you could die today (over 100,000 people die daily). Please, accept HIS Free Gift of Salvation. It is for your Good, not GOD's. HE doesn't need us but we more than need HIM, and HE cared enough to die for you. I remember when I wasn’t sure if there was a god or not. I went home fearful and started praying for God to help me, I apologized and cried. The next day I saw recommendations from many Christian videos, specifically from Living Waters! And I have never watched a single Christian video on my own time, so this is how I knew God answered my prayer. And when I watched your videos it seemed every video I watched answered a question I had. I went back to Church, believed in the Lord Jesus Christ and a month later I got baptized.

Carmen Siekierke - Hi Carmen. 😃 Hebrews 10:16 And the Holy Spirit also bears witness to us; for after saying, “This is the covenant that I will make with them after those days, declares the Lord: I will put my laws on their hearts, and write them on their minds,”. Quoting Jeremiah 31:33 about the new covenant. For this is the covenant that I will make with the house of Israel after those days, declares the Lord: I will put my law within them, and I will write it on their hearts. And I will be their God, and they shall be my people. Don’t you see Carmen Gods Law is a blessing not a curse. The new covenant with Spiritual Israel (you and I) is all about writing his Law on our hearts and giving us the Holy Spirit to help us and guide us. The new covenant can’t be about changing Gods Law. That is unchangeable. I didn’t say it God did. The prophets, in effect, taught: “New covenant, same law.” So, we have a choice. Do we believe what the prophets in the Bible wrote, or what mainstream doctrine teaches? I choose the prophets and Yeshua.
@jamesbondgrc5 жыл бұрын
Carmen Siekierke - the writer in your article speaking of Yeshua and the sermon on the mount says “His goal is to show that the new covenant surpasses the old covenant.” So we have to ask ourselves, did Yeshua teach something new, a new law because the old covenant based on Gods Law was faulty? Can something that is declared to be perfect be made better? The law of the Lord is perfect, reviving the soul; the testimony of the Lord is sure, making wise the simple; Gods Laws are perfect... Also when it comes to the covenant God made with Israel on Sinai Paul sums it up. Hebrew 8:1-13. The fault is with Israel not God or Gods Law. Israel (We) broke the covenant but Yeshua paid the price of that covenant once and for all.
@jamesbondgrc5 жыл бұрын
Carmen Siekierke - the writer of the article says; If you are convinced the product is better, they reason, you will probably want to buy it. After all, who wants the “old and inferior”? Again, I stand by what Paul says in Hebrews. “The fault was with them, the Israelites, not Gods Law. They (we) were the inferior part of the covenant. But Gods plan all along was a perfect sacrifice for our half of the covenant we could not keep. AMEN. !!!
@jamesbondgrc5 жыл бұрын
Carmen Siekierke - from the article... “ The moral law, in fact, goes back to the creation. It is the standard to which God holds all human beings in all times and in all places.” Question - if the moral Law is the 10 commandments and it goes back to creation, why does mainstream Christianity break the fourth? Exodus 20:8-11 Remember the Sabbath day, to keep it holy. Six days you shall labor, and do all your work, but the seventh day is a Sabbath to the Lord your God. On it you shall not do any work, you, or your son, or your daughter, your male servant, or your female servant, or your livestock, or the sojourner who is within your gates. For in six days the Lord made heaven and earth, the sea, and all that is in them, and rested on the seventh day. Therefore the Lord blessed the Sabbath day and made it holy. You can’t get any crystal clearer than that. Not the words of Moses, not the words of Paul, not the words of Rob. The Almighty spoke those words. He didn’t say FIRST day of the week. No where in scripture does God change that commandment and The early Apostles did not change that commandment. If it is changed please show me where.... yes they met on the first day of the week. No law against that but they still kept the 7th day Sabbath. 😁😁🙏🙏

@@WHIRLWOLF Facts stand is causal relations, and since an infinite regress is impossible, then there has to be an ultimate foundation(God) from which to make any statements of fact. If you don't agree that God is the ultimate foundation then you need to posit some other foundation from which statements of facts can be made. Well what is it? At the moment you are borrowing from God to state facts which puts you in a contradiction.

@@sowhat... 1 John 1:8-10 GNB If we say that we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and there is no truth in us. But if we confess our sins to God, he will keep his promise and do what is right: he will forgive us our sins and purify us from all our wrongdoing. If we say that we have not sinned, we make God out to be a liar, and his word is not in us.
@Matthew567Gospel4 жыл бұрын
Accepting Christ DOES mean that we stop living in sin. If you really belive that Jesus died for your sins, you repent from your old way of living and pursue righteousness. It doesn't mean that you're not saved by faith, but genuine faith means rejecting your old nature. Apostle Paul says we are dead to sin, but alive to Christ for our old self has been crucified with Him. "For if we sin willfully after we have received the knowledge of the truth, there no longer remains a sacrifice for sins," Hebrews 10:26
@Ads-uv5ds4 жыл бұрын
@@Matthew567Gospel disagree with your scripture as its down to interpetation.. If you willingly indulge in the wrong food inside your body you sin. Take it every one is going to hell then.. If there is no other sacrifice.. every one knowingly sins after conversion. If you know anyone who doesnt I would like to meet them.
@Matthew567Gospel4 жыл бұрын
@@Ads-uv5ds I'm not saying that if you sin after you accept Jesus that you're going to hell. I'm saying that genuine conversion will be followed by a lifestyle change. If you accepted Jesus, but go on to live a life of immorality, getting drunk, smoking and cursing, then you really haven't been separated from the world which is what the bible calls us to 1 John 2:15. Sure we all sin and make mistakes, but a Christian will repent of his sin and get back up. Just like when Jesus told that prostitute, “Neither do I condemn you; go and sin no more.”

What a nice young "Angel" Ray, you are certainly doing good work out there in the mission field. It's seems as though your messages have become even softer over time-i.e. when you let him know that it's ok that he's lusted and sinned, and you tell him that you have too, we all have. That seems to both disarm people as well as endear them toward you and your very important message. Thank You for your example. You've greatly helped me in watching these videos to be more confident in speaking with people about why they should believe in or at least consider the reason why we need a savior. Bless you!!!

Usually it's strange, people always say we only believe because we are too weak to live a tough life. But well yeah, life was useless for me , didn't see any point, God found me and fixed me and now I have dreams every single night and I love life. So yeah I was weak and God made me strong. Some people deal with the world to prove their strength to themselves and others but why deal with pain when you don't have too? I'd rather have a life of love instead of the life I couldn't appreciate when I was younger...
