@@FreestyleTri I used to carve pumpkins for the kids from the top. As it slowly decays, the top falls in on itself due to gravity. However, cutting into it from the bottom is better. I learned about from an artist who carves thousands of pumpkins for an outdoor exhibit. They lasted longer with the cut from the bottom.
