I have watched probably alllll of your videos. You seem like you are in the best shape that I’ve ever seen and it’s showing through the way you are carrying yourself. I was at the race and saw you on the way to the swim but I could see you were in your zone so I didn’t say anything. You crushed it and I’m extremely happy for you! Congrats and keep going man!

Excited you're back racing, Miguel! It was a fun, hot day out on course. Totally relate to your "I love this" mentality when the going go tough! It was nice to meet you both at the QR tent and I'm LOVING the carburrito shirt!

The bike needs to be real efficient so you are going fast but with less power so you save your legs for the run

Congratz! Was watching the live stream not knowing Miguel was in it. Sad they never streamed or even mentioned places 5 to 10. Ironman is so clueless when it comes to their race coverage.

Hey! Just wondering: What’s the name of your bike (let’s call it) trailer? It looks to be very easy to use. :)

Great job! Was out there with you my first Ironman race ever, felt dizzy mid way it was hot out. As a faster swimmer (8th in age group) do you try to latch onto bike packs as they catch up and pass you on bike or just stick to target power?
@FreestyleTri7 күн бұрын
as an age-grouper, just sticking to your optimal target power is probably the best way to go. anything else might slow you down, unless you know exactly who you're racing / when they started in the rolling start.

Awesome I will be in Louisville 70.3 August 18th and will do that! Follow-up swim question sorry to bother, for the swim I stuck with staying on feet rather than middle of river where it’s fastest water theoretically… mistake? (28 min swim felt would be quicker)

Sweet ride! I picked up an X-PR a little over a year ago. I'm tempted to putting some super tough tires on it just for training and getting a V-PRi down the road....beautiful bike.
