As a psych major let me just say, Astrology is B.S., fun af B.S., but B.S nonetheless. It's so vague the statements can apply to most anyone. ""You are kind, but will not be taken advantage of" Myer-Briggs is not scientifically valid, if you want one that is look more toward the NEO-PI-R, aka the big five, it's not perfect, not really applicable across cultures, but it's the best we have. Now environment does have an effect on personality, so Zack could be more blunt because he's from Texas. Anyway sorry for my babbling, I'm high on Extraversion on the NEO-PI-R. XD

+Hi People Actually, Carl Jung was a psychologist with extensive background in personality and cognitive functioning. The mother-daughter team (Meyers-Briggs) integrated his studies into a more organized format. Taking the mbti test online isn't always very accurate, but through studying the functions and their interactions, you can learn a lot about how your brain works while understanding others.
@TheDetectiveJ8 жыл бұрын
The point that needs to be understood here people is simply: Understand the material before you criticize it. its like back when galileo was attacked for claiming that Jupiter had moons and asserting the claim that everything didn't revolve around the Earth. That is a prime example in history of debunking a theory they did not even bother really looking into because it doesn't match up with their current beliefs. I don't know why people have an issue doing this, but it's OK to say "I don't know". You will garner a lot more respect by acknowledging your ignorance rather than showing pride in your ignorance Remember that people's reality is simply what they know and accept to be true and one person's reality is another person's illusion.

Rachel Behik If it's a formula that works, then why rock the boat? They wouldn't be the first content producer to use a formula for entertainment, and definitely wouldn't be the last. Big hit sitcoms and movies - totally formulaic (usually).

The Myers Briggs can be pretty accurate for some people. If it comes up differently every time for you, then it's not accurate for you because of the way you think and answer the question. But some people have taken it every 3 years and always get the same result. But regardless, there is no reason to bring up your type as an example of traits such as "logic" or "emotional nature". The best way to utilize them is in actual research. But they can help you weed out people you wouldn't be fit for in a relationship. But honestly, an intp would most likely not bring it up like the skit above unless she suffered from some degree of insecurity.
