13:02 Just a small correction. The Eye does damage anytime an enemy takes damage. It’s not dependent on normal attacks. Just that the enemy takes any kind of damage. It’s why the Eye won’t proc when attacking Shield Mitachurls or similar enemies.

I f2p rolled like 500 wishes and got c6 raiden (and some other 5 stars) over 2 banners. Feelsgood. I then did a fun party with 3 coop c6 Raiden's. Her c6 stacks. We'd take the 3 raidens, and then 1 other cool character for ult, like Zhongli. With all the ER and ult CD reduction she gives at c6, that meant the last player could basically perma ult, I think we managed 5 zhongli ults in 20 seconds.

there is an underrated team that I like to use Raiden in, it's Raiden- Arlecchino - Bennett - Chevreuse .. it's kind of duel DPS team (like Eula -Raiden) , but it's very solid and fun to play

I’ve had c3 Raiden since her debut but failed to get her weapon EVERY time it was on banner. I got Ayato’s and Nilou’s swords so I pulled those characters out of spite. Got several standard weapons, always failed. So since around Sumeru she has been used in hylerbloom teams, letting her constellations rot. Fast forward to this banner, I was returning after quitting (I’ve spent probably half the time since launch quitting and returning) so had extra pulls from the returner event and the anniversary. I failed to get her weapon, getting another copy of a standard weapon I literally never use (skyward book). But now that the weapon banner has changed…it was guaranteed the next round. So I kept farming up primos from the returner event, finishing Fontaine and act I of Natlan in the process. Last night after about 40 pulls in I got engulfing! It is so cathartic after 3+ years of failing to get this weapon. Last week I also got a random Kujou Sara from the weapon banner, ending my perma c5 Sara status and finally making her usable for Raiden! I need to adjust my Emblem set a bit but I’m so happy to have Raiden all dripped out and almost optimal. Main thing now is deciding the team since I want to use Sara but also Furina. Years back I was running Sunfire comp so I could just plug Furina into that, but I’d like to avoid Bennett unless the content really makes me need to use him. Anyway, enjoyed the vid and it was a good refresher for me since I haven’t played her as a dps for a while!

skyward spine is a very good replacement for the catch, i used it for half of a year with C2. if you do not have very good er sand or electro goblet, but you have atack% piece with more Crit and ER value.. then skyward is actually better than the catch since attack % helps more when having a bigger base attack (and especially if you do not have a lot of Atk buffs from other sources like bennet with noblese oblige + sara). for example its not worth it to put er sands if you have Atk% sands with 10 or more Crit value. in my case when i was testing several times skyward spine was clearly better the catch, but mostly because i have both sands and goblet with ATK% with higher crit value. even now when i have engulfing i use Atk % pieces, since i prefer to have 5% more crit rate, than just dealing 3-5 % more damage

Her C2 carry variant is powercrept but still very viable and her EM variants are just amazing. Cannot recommend her enough for overload teams since her E dmg comes out after your Pyro carry and just keeps dropping a casual extra 26k dmg. Fantastic character that newer players can skip for now if they want newer stronger carries but should absolutely add to their account at some point.

The real tip is just use Genshin Optimiser to see which mainstat pieces are the best for anyone's build that will pair well with your available weapon. We all have different artifact luck and Raiden's stats are pretty tricky to balance as she can scale in both ER and ATK.

Skyward spine calculations are off a bit i guess. The attack speed buff after the burst allows you to pull 2 3 hits more. I am getting better result with it than catch on a c0 with 169% crit damage 250% er build

I'm trying to figure out how to shoehorn Emilie into a Raiden team. I'm thinking Bennett for sure, but should my fourth be a bloomer, or should I double down on burn, or maybe go for a swirler? Quicken swirly-burn could be neat. Maybe I do need to pull for kazuha to drop sapwood on him so I can run a different burn applicator? Bennets ability1 is a pretty low cooldown, though, so maybe I can just use the venti I have and keep Bennett in the team?

I'm in this weird spot where I have alhaitham and Neuvillette and I KNOW it makes more sense to vertically invest into them... But I've had Raiden for 2y and I feel like I could slowly get her constellations up to c2 or C3 (by getting 1 every time she reruns). Idk, I'm afraid of missing out on new, stronger characters, because they will obviously add more value to my account than an old character's constellation

I went straight C2.. skipped mualani and will skip xilonen too.. point is that you should pull for the character that you like, be it their playstyle or design.. point about meta is that literally any character will perform when you have patience to build them..

So if you want to get a character just get them without worrying about meta. Do the maths. Even if you skip the abyss fully it's gonna take you 3 years to guarantee a single new character. Seems obvious why it's not worth it tbh.
