I love how the Club members don't even lay hands on him. They literally suffocate him just by surrounding him, just by being there, i like that metaphor. Even tho the scene was drawn by the mangaka, the animation Team definetely nailed it 120%. If you take into consideration that in the comic the scene is propably max 3 panels long. I know its nothing big to nail this as a professional animator, yet im still impressed by this.. Its Nuance i think, thats the word maybe??

I think this is funny considering each time Sugimoto is beaten he tried the same thing with Mob. First he tries humiliating and making fun of Mob and then Dimple comes in and Humiliates him way worse. Next he tries to physically hurt and attempt to fight Mob then Ritsu comes by and holds him by death's door Finally he tries to intimidate and get big against mob only for the Body improvement Guys come by and squeeze him out so bad he passes out. There's a quote that summarizes this whole ordeal well but I can't quite put my finger on it. Maybe it's "Bullies only act so tough because they are weaker, once there's someone/group that's better than them they cower"? I mean he got outclassed in every way possible so I guess it works well here.
