My over 1 year old, $250 bouge rv fridge runs for 2 weeks nonstop and then is off for 4 or 5 days. Then I’m back on the road for another 2 weeks. Bouncing down the road in the sleeper of a semi and being on all the time has been a pretty good test. Zero problems so far.

I have one of the first BougeRV 41L models in my Jeep strapped on a slide. I also bought the same battery pack. The only difference I see is mine is plastic orange and black vs. stainless steel gray and black. I've had mine in constant use for 2 years in the back of my Jeep. My power connections are on the back, and my controls and bottle opener are on the other. My portable power station does not live in my Jeep but the fridge does for things like grocery store runs as I live on the hot Gulf Coast so I like the included battery for daily driving. I do need to remember to turn the battery off at the end of the day at home. There is an on/off switch on the battery. The app works well for me. When I purchased my BougeRV it was almost $200 less when I bought mine; that was probably because it was plastic and not rugged metal. In two years of service I am very happy with my BougeRV fridg; still works great.

Hi Casey. Not sure if you know but the lid comes off on the Bouge RV but you have to find the right angle. Once you do, it slides out easy. You open the lid to a certain angle and the hinge tabs have a flat spot that allows you to pull straight up at the hinges 👍🏼

I have the Rocky 40 and the Iceco 24. Just finished a weeklong trip with the Rocky and really like it. The flexibility keeping some foods frozen and then moving them to the refrigerated side is a critical feature for me. Rocky is the biggest dual zone fridge. I can find that will fit underneath my tonneau 16:26 cover. Both are great products. Just use a little screwdriver to pry the corner of the Rocky lid the first time and you can swap sides.

Nice video...with all the crazy pricing Bouge RV did I picked up a Rocky 55QT for $420 and they sent me a free battery because I had a shipping issue. It ended up being a nice deal and worked well for me on the first weeklong trip I used it on. That spare battery worked well. Of course that fridge isn't going 24/7 and even in summer weather in the gulf area it worked really well. I paired it with a Ecoflow Delta Max and it was a great combo.

Interesting!! The app on my iPhone does not have a "LOCK" option for the temp setting... Great video! I must be ADD, "look shiny object! " I just received my APL 35 and so far really liking it. The latches issue with opening can be solved or helped by having a fridge slide (of course, not while driving...)...I just made a tilting one so I can actually look inside (I'm only 5'8") and the fridge sits on my FJ platform... Thanks again for the video!!

The BougeRV I think is made by Alpicool. The app is the same and the interior is 100% the same. I'm curious which compressor it uses. Alpicool does offer Lg compressors if you order direct from them as a wholesaler.

They should advertise these battery 12v fridges to the beach goers. You can spend all day at the beach with cold drinks and food and not need a power station or ice.

Warranty is where it’s at tho. All the extra features don’t matter if it goes out after two years. And it will .

I own a bougeRV CR30PRO and a domende 54 qt fridge.. the bougerv has had no issues maintaining the temperature while the domende struggles.. i think bougervs compressor and quality is way better..

The carfridge app is the original app for iceco lol. Both apps work on my iceco go20 which I was originally using the carfridge app for my go20 before that iceco app just came out. So this tells me bouge rv refrigerator is made by iceco. Iceo also owns setpower , they are sister companies. So I'm definitely not surprised that bouge rv fridge is made by iceco. Even dometic started to OEM thier in-house compressor and electrical components. Igloos new dc fridge is made by dometic.

Seems like the Weight distribution when filled will even out on the Rocky because of where the inner shelf is, thus majority of food weight will be opposite of the compressor.

If I have a $500 budget for a 40L refrigerator, going for a plastic one with unknown compressor just seems ridiculous. So I PICK ICECO.

Do you think they specified the capacity "41 liter" using the outside dimensions? The battery is not in the cooler compartment. I suspect the liter capacity is when filled with liquid. The cans have space around and between them, and when there is room for less than a full can side by side or stacked, you lose that unusable space when loading with cans. The ICECO seems to pack the cans in with very little unusable space.
