You couldn’t give me enough cash for me to sell my Gladiator EcoDiesel. It’s absolutely the perfect engine for the JL/JT, and the trans is the best shifting trans of anything I’ve ever driven. Currently 36K miles and zero issues in 2-1/2 years. If it ever got stolen or totaled, I’d look for a clean used one in a heartbeat before buying a gas model!

You have to use double amount of fresh ground coffee to get close to French press. You have to turn upside down to brew properly. So a rise of it falling over, and waking the whole camp up with profanities. If you own a French press save your money and buy a water jug.

If it were my choice the “Demonator “ would be the one going down the road , but its not my choice lol.. that demonator is a show pony ,,, that JL is so much better a overlanding rig. But hey they are both awesome Jeeps , for me one is just very impractical.

I miss my JLURD Farout for the endless torque and diesel sound and range. I don't miss DEF, worrying about overheating on grades, and the expensive fuel filter / oil changes. Good luck with the sale.

Good morning, The backseat in my 4xe, if a tall person is back there and you have to hit the brakes, the head hits the roll bar due to the seat being higher because of the battery. With your comments about possibly hitting the roll bar from the front seat, can you comment about a tall person in the back?

So I see it's not just us in Ontario that they screw the front plate into the bottom of the plastic grill. My wife was extremely annoyed at that. We bought aftermarket steel bumpers and side rails to replace the side steps. Because our front bumper has a bull bar, we searched around for a fix and found a license plate mount with circular bull bar mount.

Electrical theory fail! You will still need to use heavy gauge wire on the input side of the DC to DC boost converter. You could reduce the amount of heavy gauge wire used by wiring the converter closer to the battery. Anything less is a fire hazard. DC to DC boost converters are not 100% efficient either. The Victron spec sheet says 93%.
