Pretty much all the pros and cons are cherry-picked. You should look for other comparisons, and you will soon realize that the Wooting is still the best but also pretty expensive rapid trigger keyboard. The Drunk Deer is still an amazing budget alternative, tho. You should only get the Drunk Deer if you don't have the money for a Wooting in my opinion. There is more than enaugh proof already in this video if you know what the Wooting and its Software can do. (Which got completely ignored in this video lol)

Hey Nice video man. I play cs2 a lot and i am 2200 elo lvl 10. I use a pretty Old corsair keyboard and considered buying the huntsman mini analog, for its cheap Price and rapid trigger included. But i Think you Got me hooked on buying this drunkdeer, would you say this switch is gonna make a huge difference in my counter strafing? Because i actually feel like my Old board is pretty slow at strafing. Thanks ❤

Im not a fan of 60 or 65 percent keyboards. I play a lot of Tarkov and need my F keys Drunkdeer is a solid choice if you want to save a good chunk of money. Especially in Canada the he wooting is around $300 while the Drunkdeer is $170-180.

Yeah it's a substantial difference! Sounds like the A75 is more your style then :D Another thing I think Wooting could work on - and seemingly are with the upcoming 80he - is expanding the layout selection. No 65% and no 75% is a dealbreaker for me as they are my preferred layouts.

Hey bro. Lubing won't have a negative effect on performance if that's what you're afraid of. At least as long as you don't overlube. If anything it'll improve performance a bit as the switches will feel better and move more smoothly.

Wooting's definitely got a lot of die hard fans lol. For good reason though. It's an amazing keyboard. But so is the DrunkDeer. There are a few good rapid trigger options starting to pop up lately and the competion is great for the us as consumers at the end of the day :) If I wanted a rapid trigger keyboard I'd buy one of these for just over 100 bucks today and get it tomorrow. If I wanted the best (by a small margin imo) rapid trigger keyboard because I'm a pro gamer, I'd pay nearly $200 for a Wooting and get it a month or two :D

Hey man. So unfortunately they still haven't released a physical option for profile-switching, but honestly, I eventually got completely used to typing on the keyboard in the gaming setup, so I don't really feel the need anymore. It'd still be nice, but definitely not something I'm really thinking about now. A75 vs G65 is kinda personal preference and depend what you need / what form factor you prefer. The A75 comes with a full F row and a volume knob - the G65 takes up less space on your desk - that's the difference really. I am still using the G65 as my daily driver. I recently put it in an aluminum case and plan on putting out a video on that this week actually :) For the 100-ish dollars that the G65 usually costs, I think it's unbeatable. Hi! :) You can’t swap switches in really any magnetic keyboard for the time being. In practice that is - in some you technically can swap to standard mechanical switches, but then there’s really no point in getting magnetic to begin with lol. Haven’t tried the Akko yet, but Monsgeek (sister company so presumably very similar) recently sent me an M1W-SP HE and that thing is so heavy and robust and feels good to play on. Overall, for now I’d say I slightly prefer the DrunkDeer at least for me. The monageek is a little more customizable and can 0.01 mm lower on actuation if I’m not mistaken, but I don’t really see myself ever using that lol.

If someone magically changed your keyboard one day and it looked, sounded and felt the same, I don't think you'd necessarily notice a massive difference unless you play CS2 or Valorant a ton, but comparing them back to back it's easy to tell that it's a noticeable diffenrece and significant advantage. I can pretty much guarantee you that it will improve your counter strafing. As far as comparing the Wooting to the DrunkDeer boards - The Wooting does have a few features that the DrunkDeer does not - but honestly not really any that I'd miss - add to that the fact that the DD is in stock, cost around $65 dollars less and comes with arrow keys and I'd probably recommend it over the wooting. I believe the Wooting switches may be just a tiny bit more precise than the DD ones, but the DD is already a big upgrade from a traditional board :)

@@kwispyCS Valorant and CS2 arent even close to gaining the most out of rapid trigger. Track Mania and osu even considered banning the keyboard because of how much of an advantage you can gain if you know how to use it. Seems like the research you made for this video is nonexistent because the Wooting has many advantages with the Software alone. The build quality is way better, and there are a bunch of other small advantages that the average player probably won't notice much. You're at least right that the Drunk Deer is a good budget alternative. It's not Superior to the Wooting in any way except the price tag and the delivery time. In the end the Drunk Deer is amazing for its price but not better than other rapid trigger keyboards like you said in the video.

You're correct that I didn't play every game in existence to make and end all be all video about 3 keyboards. Also, this is my third review of gaming peripherals. I don't claim to be the most knowledgeable expert in the universe. I am trying to build a channel and I wanted to make a video introducing more people to rapid trigger keyboards, and as you've said multiple times now, the DD is a great option at a lower pricepoint. I don't think our opinions are really all that different, but I also don't think you know how difficult it is to make a video without forgetting or leaving some things out. It's a video about a keyboard and I'm giving you my opinion on it - I have no incentinve to promote one more than the other. Let's leave it at that :)

But yeah you're right - that definitely matters - they're just not games I have any interest in or knowledge about so it's unfortunately not really something I can speak about. osu I've never bothered really looking into but I did use to play Trackmania when I was younger and I can definitely see the dual actuation being an advantage there. Steelseries Apex Pro definitely is a huge upgrade specifically in terms of switch response time for things like counter strafing etc! :) If you've already had it for a while I'd just enjoy the keyboard cause it's definitely a good one. If it's still within the return period I'd consider taking it back and trying out one of the DrunkDeer boards cause I do think they're better in some key areas even though the Apex Pro does have a few additional features.

Hi ! I was wondering : on the a75, if you press fn + f7 you can play for example a youtube video that is not in a focused window. Can you do the same on the g65 ? (Like by pressing fn2 + 7). I have a 60% rn and fn2 + 7 does not pause a video.

Hey man - great question! The answer is yes :D I personally have play/pause bound to fn2 + right arrow and when pressed, it will play/pause whatever media you've most recently interacted with. So if you're playing a youtube video in another window or tab and you press it, it will pause the video. @@kwispyCS i have modded it but this is based on my thoughts of before i modded it (new case, a little extra foam, burger mount and band-aid mods. I just left the factory lube). I feel like it has more of a poppy sound which I prefer. Also a little deeper. (I am also a complete amateur when it comes to keyboards. The wooting was the first and only real "made to sound decent" keyboard that I have gotten, and also my first time modding so take my opinion with a grain of salt, I just base my opinions on recordings I've heard of sound tests and such). But this is based solely on your recording of those keyboards, which I know isnt 100% accurate to what it sounds like in real life. So I very much could be mistaken. After hearing both after modding, I can definitly say I prefer the spacebar sound on g65 although I prefer the normal key sound of the wooting.

I own both wooting & drunkdeer a75 - Software wise wooting is much much better & stable as well ( drunkdeer firmware is currently unstable especially on 0.1RT ) - Drunkdeer Raesha switch is better imo less wobble compared to wooting stock Lekker60he switch but … u can’t replace Drunkdeer Switch as freely as u like 😢 Both has its own pros and cons. U got high budget go for wooting for better stability & functionality such as the analog feature u could easily Auto/Counter Strafe on CS2 feels like cheating imo. If the budget is limited go for Drunkdeer

I disagree that they're just knock offs. By that logic almost every product on the market is a knock off of something :D Someone is always going to do something first and other will attempt to make it better and cheaper. It's definitely true that the wooting is more customizable so it comes down to whether or not you need that extra costumizability. The wooting has it's positives and negative as does every keyboard. In my opinion, the DrunkDeer is better value for money, and it's also in stock which I consider to be a huge plus. But of course it's not like it blows the wooting out of the water or anything like that :)

@@kwispyCS it's just really obvious that you are exremely biased. 1: you didn't mention the software's many shortcomings and how limited it is compared to other keyboards. 2: you didn't mention the rapid trigger's 0.2->0.8 is worse than many other RT keyboards (even cheap ones) and tried to show how impressive it is. 3: the wooting does have lower latency than the DrunkDeer yet the graphs you show paint the picture that the DrunkDeer got much lower, which is misleading. also funny how you think that 0.2->3.8 vs 0.1->4.0 is no big deal but less than 1ms latency difference is worth pointing out. do better.

This is the worst review I have ever seen about any rapid trigger keyboard. The Wooting is currently superior to all other rapid trigger keyboards in an objective way. SoUnDs BeTtEr is not even true and subjective anyway. The Wooting is obviously more expensive than the Drunk Deer, but is also way worse in many aspects. The Software for the Drunk Deer is not even close to what the Wotility software for the Wooting can do. The actuation point isn't as adjustable and the overall build quality is way worse, which got completely ignored here: 4:55. The Drunk Deer dick riding made in this video is immense. You cherry-picked all the points for the overall comparison and ignored 90% of why the Wooting is so good. Don't get me wrong tho, the Dunk Deer is an amazing budget alternative for those who don't want to spend that much money on a keyboard. Please stop cherry-picking pros and cons and make proper comparisons about the products you're reviewing.

Nice try Wooting... Lol jk, but I gotta say, I disagree with your feedback a little bit :) I agree that sound is subjective - which was mentioned in the video. Software is not as good - I agree and I mention in the video that the wooting has some additional features (that I don't value in any way) ie. dual actuation is one of the silliest inventions I've heard of - If you've tried it and found a good use for it and find it easy to use, I'd really like to hear about it. "The actuation point isn't as adjustable" Wooting is adjustable from 0.1 - 4.0 mm - in 0.1 mm increments DrunkDeer is adjustable from 0.2 - 3.8 mm - in 0.1 mm increments So the ONLY difference here is that the wooting can actuate at 0.1 mm rather than 0.2 mm and can be set 0.2 mm lower than the DrunkDeer - if that's somehow important to you I guess you're right, but I'd love to hear how that's an important difference. Overall, from my perspective, which is what the video is, there more or less equally as useful - the difference being that the DD is $55 cheaper and for less than that you can add multiple quality mods. And then there's the fact that you generally have to wait around 2 months for the Wooting. I never said there was absolutely no way anyone should be buying a Wooting, I just stated my opinion and my opinion is that the DD is better value. If you disagree that's perfectly fine, but I don't think I was d*ckriding. Anyway, I appreciate your feedback and opinion - and that's not meant to be sarcastic lol

Ofc you can recommend someone the drunk deer because its much cheaper for only a bunch of downsides but you cant say that the drunk deer ist better which is objectivly wrong. For someone who doesnt have a Lot of Money at Hand the DD ist definitly the better Option.

​@@kwispyCS that spacebar is so pingy. I have a fully moded wooting 60: Gummy oring friction mount, polyfill, tape mod, switch tape mod, and of course lubed switches. Fully removes uneven sound of the tray mount and removes the chattery upstroke sound. The sound is way better than that recording at 7 mins. Yes the board is cheaper but its certainly not better, even soundwise. The only big reason you have is price. Performance wise, wooting wins. Also on the drunkdeer QnA "we currently do not recommend disassembling the A75 keyboard" just shows that the product isnt aimed at enthousiasts. While wooting encourages modding the board with full tutorials on youtube and a more indepth customization guide and info on discord, with things like case compatibility lists. Not to mention one of the best customer service i have ever experienced. I notified a problem in the switch design, they fixed it with gateron within 2months and provided free replacements free shipping. Something you would never see from companies like razer.

As mentioned - it's extremely difficult to capture the proper sound with a mic - at least with my setup :) You also just mentioned 5 mods, some of which not being very beginner friendly - I taped the PCB, lubed the switch and stuck a bit of tape in the spacebar - I would hope that yours sound better :D lol

​@@kwispyCSI have the Wooting, DrunkDeer and VXE ATK 68. The VXE is the cheaper one and better overall. So much hype on the Wooting. 😅
