Totally agree with that. I am not anti-establishment, but I am anti-coercion. When "They" say, "it's for your own good", refuse and run like hell. This transcends to ALL subjects and coercion foisted on us by the establishment. I might have gotten the Covid vaccine had "they" not pushed it so hard in the face of missing research and facts.

Planned obsolescence is an engineering principle taught in school. I was taught this when I went to Engineering. A friend of mine has a Tesla and has been suspended from driving due to an update. In his manual, it says it is not recommended to sit in the car when fast charging, and if he gets behind in his payments, Tesla has the right to suspend the car's use until payment is updated. So you really do not own your car.

Hey..just happened to catch your video this morning, AWESOME JOB!!!👏👏👏 so accurate in everything you said, I have just gotten rid of a 2021 DS3 fully electric..the car itself was beautiful inside and out every bit of gear in it was beyond luxurious but also practical, adaptive LED headlights, heads up display the comfort and quiet like no other car I've ever had,,BUT !!! the amount of 💩💩 we are fed by the manufacturer, the dealership and the media was shocking to experience!!! The real world mileage is complete lies, the charging time complete lies the so called charging network infrastructure and low environmental impact was the most eye opening experience of a con job I've ever seen...if you are just in a town you know where everything is, how far how long to get there it's not so bad, if you have to drive for any length of time, to an unfamiliar area or on a highway my stress level was through the roof, from Stirling Scotland to Birmingham took me a day and a half with the added cost of a hotel for the night..the network apps are crap!!! 50% if not more the chargers didn't work, some looked like they'd been smashed up for months but still show active ...if you're lucky to make it to a working charger 9 of 10 times you're waiting on at least 1 sometimes several vehicles ahead of u to charge, that was in spring with no air conditioner or heater running or extra drag on the battery in any type of bad weather needing defog, wipers the usual..the degradation of the battery and then the ethics and the REAL environmental impact on mining and refining the cobalt and other minerals needed is another shocking realization, after 8 months of it I had enough and returned it for the biggest Range Rover I could find!!! Even if diesel doubles in price i wouldn't care. The frustration and stress everyday are worth ten times the cost of fuel... Anyway sorry for the rant I'm gonna finish your video, I'm subscribed and hope to see more of your content!!! 👍

I was on the fence about EV’s until I watched a YT short a few days ago. A guy was talking about how the rare metals for the batteries are mined, the sheer volume that has to be processed and environmental damage caused. He also mentioned the dangerous chemicals that have to be used to process the rare metals and how they can leach into water tables. He also showed graphically the number of barrels of oil expended to produce one battery that was the equivalent power density of a single barrel of oil. The video really made it clear what a massive con EV’s are from an environmental standpoint. Not forgetting how much of the charging comes from renewable sources and how/where the batteries are disposed of at the end of their useful life.

@@paulcarnall791 No idea, and I’m not particularly interested. Assuming the information in the video I watched was reasonably accurate Biden’s 2030 EV goals for the US along with green energy and military requirements will mean a 25 fold increase in demand for rare earth metals and magnets. Where is it all going to come from and how much environmental damage will be caused extracting it is anybody’s guess. Did you compare it to the production process of an ICE car? You'd be surprised how much energy, materials and environmental destruction that causes, and then there's the oil you have to keep on drilling (with oil), refining (with cobalt), transporting (again using oil) to then burn, polluting even more during the entire life of the gas car. Nothing is 100% green. Even if you run your EV from a coal power plant, and completely ignore the pollution from refining and distributing gasoline, an EV is still the most green option within about 2-3 years of average driving. The average lifespan of a car is 20 years.

This only confirms my thoughts. I’ve had it happen that I woke up and all flights were canceled and I had to be in London. So I jumped in my car (I’m in the Netherlands) drove to Calais parked my car in the Shuttle got out drove on to London 7 hours without a single fuel stop. Try that with an EV! And after that I would fly from London to the US but the volcano was still active so that was canceled. And so my parents said: “we are going to Austria, care to come?” So I drove from London to Worgl fuels up 2.5 times. Left at 6am arrived 10pm 750 miles. With an EV, impossible!

Back in the early 80’s here in the US we had a gas shortage. It pushed me into electric car conversions. So having an old 71 Ford pinto I went about converting it to electric. At that time people were buying aircraft generators and using them as motors. Electronic technology was still in the Stone Age. So speed control was done using stainless steel sheet metal bands as resistors. The car was stripped of all things not needed. Thin tires were used and the heavy standard transmission oil was replaced with auto trans mission fluid. All to have less friction. 12 golf cart batteries were installed right in the back seat, sides of the engine compartment, and two in the trunk. The car with all those lead acid batteries added an additional 500 Lbs to the cars original curb weight. With a 500 amp Jack &Heinz’s aircraft generator applied voltage of 48 volts DC you got a 20 hp motor. The clutch was retained and mounted on a plate off the transmission with a large bearing. The generator was attached on the other side with a flex coupling. Speed control was a set of micro switches mounted on a small box using the throttle cable to actuate the switches. They in turn operate a set of 600 amp contractors. You keep the car in first gear and as the throttle is applied contractors were engaged one at a time closing off each stainless steel band till full voltage is gained. At 8,000 rpm full speed was 40 mph. Using 500 amps of battery power. My range was 20 miles. Only if you had no hills or headwind. It was good for local driving only. Heads would turn at a red light when would have the clutch in and start the motor wine. I built my own homemade charger. I even added a gas powered generator in the trunk for added range which was only a mile or two. It as a fun project but that’s all. I gave up the car after a year. And will never buy an EV or build one again.

Ev cars are more practical in urban environments. And the high concentration of cars in cities are a major source of air pollution. EVs have no emissions. But I get it, not only are we addicted to ICE cars too many people want a truck, a big one. It makes little sense because they use twice the fuel and are hard to maneuver and park. I see this all the time. A single individual driving a huge crew cab truck as their primary transportation and they complain about traffic congestion and the price of gas. For long distance travel or situations where you need to haul a lot of stuff trucks are superb. You know you don't need to own one, you can rent it for a few days. Of course the rental market is a mess right now but it used to be practical. The most practical thing to do is have a small efficient vehicle for everyday driving. The cost of owning a car is eating up the budgets of too many people and they won't let it go. The other budget buster is having too much house.

Here in California, there was recently signed into law a mandate that will phase toward all new car sold being EV's by 2035. If we look at the current state of things, the current electrical grid moves about 900 petajoules in a year. Current gasoline sales (not including diesel) subsumes approximately 1300 petajoules. And that's total over the year, not considering needs for seasonal and daily peaks in consumption. When it gets warm in the summer, we're constantly asked to not use home air conditioning so as to avoid straining the grid. This past summer we were also asked to refrain from charging vehicles, and this came approximately two weeks after that mandate had been signed. The swiftness with which the outrage passed was sadly telling about the weak and compliant state the populace has reached. To have any hope to support 100% EV adoption, we'll have to triple the capacity of the pwer grid over the next 15-20 years, and that's assuming no population growth. So the grid probably has to be more like 4-5 times more capable by then. And today's peak capacity is approximately 80% natural gas-driven. And even if we take all the gasoline we currently produce to put 1300 petajoules into the state's gas tanks and push electrical generators with them into the grid, it would actually translate to about 20-30% fewer miles driven per joule than what we can achieve by burning it directly in the automobiles as we do now. It's a total scam pushed by people with no scientific, engineering, or mathematical competency, let alone legislational.

And this week the Govt advised that road tax would be levied in a few years on EVs. Owners are also very likely to be subject to road pricing - maybe a per mile rate - in the future as the Govt has to replace the £20Bn it raises in petroleum revenue tax as older cars are phased out. You’ve already mentioned peak time charging in the US which will happen here too. We need about 20 new power stations just to cope with EV market expansion - given it takes 10-15 years to bring online each new nuclear power station, where are those coming from?? And don’t get me started on renewables for all - how on earth are those lower income people in flats and terraces houses going to have EVs - they are not so it is a middle class only drive - how divisive will that be kn our society? However, I’m thinking about buying an older diesel, definitely before the diesel particulate filter was introduced, but a common rail in a small motor, preferably manual. I’m sick of these complex modern vehicles. Then again, maybe a 1980’s small petrol again in manual is the way to go. Manual as I love to change gears and automatic transmissions need continual servicing. Maybe an old Mercedes, like 1960’s. I really like those curves and the simplicity. There may even be a better resale value after 20 years. That was a very smart purchase you made. Good on you…I’m a bit jealous, LOL. Gotta drive over 150 000 miles to claw back your purchase price in gas savings. By then you'll need a new battery. Goodbye to another 4-6k. Batteries are a terrible source of energy. They use it quickly under load,, they leak it, they get thermal runaway, cell degradation, the potential for problems will be a technicians nightmare. Here in NZ we have big distances between all our main cities and LOTS of hills. And hardly any charging stations. I have been guilty of being sucked into the tech trap (DVD recordable for one where they charged £2 per blank DVDR disc and ended up with more coasters than recorded discs) but now I'm in my 60th year, I now can see the errors of my ways! I purchased a Hybrid car (Peugeot 3008) at the beginning of this year to replace my 3008 2litre diesel model. The main reason for going hybrid was to have an option for local travel (max 26 miles) when there is any problems with petrol/diesel supplies due to these people around us who believe MSM and rush out and panic buy fuel. The future is definitely not being designed for personal car/airline/train travel at all. They will have us all living in smart cities where we will be totally reliant on the state. When you tried to explain why you were telling us NOT to buy an electric car and what were you getting out of it, the reason I see is simply to stop the march towards a totalitarian world where we will have zero freedoms. For this you have to be congratulated as the more people see videos like yours, the more hope we have to end the march to the cliff edge. You are right about public chargers at motorway services. Last weekend went to Rugby Junction 1 services. There are 12 gridserve chargers. One was out of service and all the rest were in use with about four cars waiting to charge aswell. I went to M1 Northbound services just south of East Midlands Airport. Two chargers both in use again with several cars waiting. Luckily I could get home without a top up charge. It's a joke though with not enough chargers and the price at these chargers costing more than an ICE car to refuel to cover the same miles. BUT IT IS ALL FOR THE GREATER GOOD. That's what I thought when I part exchanged my diesel car. How wrong was I.

I agree. I decided my 3 litre A4 Avant V6 diesel was due for replacement this summer but decided to look at the Volvo V60 PHEV instead of another Audi. So far the Volvo is proving a good option. It has around 25-30 miles range on the battery and 400 plus miles with petrol. I can charge from my PV panels on sunny days and also for free when I go for a swim at the local spa. Following a trip to the Alps and back which was obviously over 90% petrol the overall mpg has leveled out at 55mpg which is better than the diesel A4 and petrol is still cheaper than diesel as well. Performance is equivalent although I miss the huge torque of the diesel engine. In other respects the Volvo is very nice to live with and rides better than the Audi. I wouldn't dream of buying or even leasing an EV.

Thanks for the video I enjoyed it all. I absolutely hate the forced push to electrification, it won't give manufacturers the time they need to get it right, and they're not even that much cleaner compared to gasoline or diesel cars when it comes to manufacturing. This will definitely cause chaos to the used car market, an old junker BMW will be priced more than it should've, and people will hold on to their ICE cars much longer. And with those subscription fees and the fact that the Manufacturers can stop you from driving your car for any reason they want, it just reaffirmed my belief that older cars are much better than modern ones 😂

We are all following in our ancestors footprints. I have been analyzing the psychology of things for a great deal of time. At first I was like you. I had an open mind and as I discovered an anomaly I would do what I am educated and trained to do. I would research the subject more and ask the authority for their validation of things. They never validated anything but the inconsistency in data. I thought... WTF are these people on? I am 62, a professional analyst in so many subjects and these people in government making the decisions are failing to analyze things correctly. I would correct them on fundamentally understood principles, but they would come back with DARVO tactics. Discredit, Attack, Reverse Victim and Offender. Crazy mind game stuff! Then I researched their credentials and it always led back to the WEF. So I looked up who the WEF was and it's a private company. Somehow a private company got into controlling government decisions and being a democratic supporter, I could see the 'Fanaticism' immediately. The model of persuasion was as per Adolf Hitler's regime ... and there was the connection. When Adolf supposedly died in a bunker he had a son, and 200,000 followers. ........ I wondered where they all where. Many in UKRAIN and when I researched his son, I could not validate it but the suspicion was it was Klaus Swabs. The owner of the company named 'The World Economic Forum'. His wife (who looks amazingly like Eva, Adolf's wife), and their children were also in on the same platform of thinking and everyone in the organisations they set up seem to be heading or already are, exempt tax, have chauffer's, diplomatic immunity and instigate policies by decree and not democracy. If Klaus is Adolf's son, or is in anyway carrying on the policies of Hitler's Fanaticism, then they will be finding ways to destroy society.... and here we are. Destroy society from within. Confuse 5 year old's with gender discussions. You have got to be joking! Truly? Have you had children? Then there is EV's, fake vaccines, manufacture Gain o Function Viruses and claim it all came from nature. Invoke lockdowns to destroy the economy, overinflate the basics of life and living. Price hikes that wage increases will never keep up with. Introduce AI to wipe out jobs. Blow up people's homes so they have to move. Fight wars that are non-existent in context. Tell the people who do 5,000 km a year that they are causing global warming whilst at the same time, turn a blind eye to the burning of the Amazon, let off millions of bombs, increase air traffic, push pollutant into the upper atmosphere to create greenhouse gasses.... shut down food production, seed the clouds and manipulate the weather to create dangerous weather patterns. We are being lied to. Make no mistake. Society owes you a debt of sincere gratitude Mr MacMaster. Tell the world. The truth can set us free and you are 100% correct, make no mistake. MacMaster, I think you're correct about electric cars becoming subscription based. My prediction a little further into the future is that around the time IC cars are made illegal, Amazon or some other huge company will start letting people rent EVs by the hour (the car will drive automatically to the person then, they can use it to get to work etc, and then it will drive its self to the next customer). While it will be marketed as better for the environment (which it may be by then), it won't actually matter, as people who have no choice other than rent one of these cars will be subjected to extortionate fees, and there will be many who can't afford their own electric car and/or simply don't have the means to charge one (if they live in a high rise flat for example). Then when it is normalised that cars are subsciption based, we will see things like paying extra to use A/C, heated seats, windows, seat adjustment, cup holders... And there will be a day when adverts will play on a car windscreen for the driver.. and the driver will have to pay extra to not see adverts in their own car.

In the summer I usually keep my golf clubs in the car since I play quite often. After 18 holes I place my clubs in the car before stopping in the 19th hole. Personal cars are used for storage for a variety of reasons based on job reasons or personal reasons. Renting a car by trip will not work for the vast majority of the population. Motown Mike

THANK YOU for giving us the HONEST reality of EV ownership, based on your own first hand experiences! No one can argue with what you are showing/telling everyone precisely because you show it FIRST HAND! All power to you and have no fear I am another person who will NEVER, EVER buy/own an EV! I'm Also with you 100% on the throw away culture we now have to live with, which is to the detriment of the planet and has lost this country 000s of jobs! 👍👍

Look at any petrol station... There are usually 8 (or more) double sided pumps. Cars spend at least 5 mins parking , filling , paying and they are usually packed out. Lets do some simple calculations... 8 pumps can handle 16 cars in 5 mins . Theres not even 16 chargers in most garages AND it takes at least an hour to charge. PLUS the energy infrastructure doesnt exist to service 16 vehicles at a time drawing however many kwatts each. Non starter

Totally brother, been saying lots of the same. Now add on to it the “social score” aspect of it as well...then you say something they don’t like on social media and they shut your whole car down. No more charges

Watching this after experiencing the same crap first time trying to charge my new electric car. Thankfully I bought a Volt. 😋I wholeheartedly agree with all your points. Can't imagine charging on the road, having to wait hours, and paying the same money as gas.

You are spot on. We are being sold a lie. The push to EV’s has nothing to do with the reducing greenhouse gases and everything to do with control of the population. Your ability to come and go as you please will be severely limited - and carefully controlled by governments. With EV’s you must be tethered to a cord just to maintain charge levels. EV’s lose their charge just sitting there and discharge even faster in cold temps. On the other hand Gas/diesel powered vehicles can sit fueled up for months on end with no reduction in range. Because these limitations many will die. The climate change lie is the catalyst for the push to EV’s and implementing the new world order. The WEF is the birthplace of these ideas.

My neighbor thought he would be wise and purchased a ford lightning. He hates it, he pulls a medium trailer from time to time and his range is seriously depleted. He had to borrow a gasoline truck on one of his trips. He's thinking of taking a loss and getting rid of it!

Ps. You are correct about Tesla. They routinely disable services, particularly if the car is sold on, or if it has not been serviced at an official Tesla dealership.

IMHO I can tell from previous video's that you gave the whole EV thing a really good go without any prejudice, and big up for doing so, but i hope your real world experiences are a warning to others, and it's given those of us who have hated the EV con from the start a sort of smug sense of satisfaction that we havent had to go through the financial and day to day pain living with it. It will take an awful lot for me to change my views, especially with the BS about petrol cars being a major contributor to global warming or whatever the latest eco crusade is. - see you at the pumps !!! GL and thanks

mac, you are spot on about the ev evangelists. i put a post on daily mail comments about buying a dacia sandero compared to a cheap EV. i mentioned battery degradation . a regular ev defender replied that ev batteries don't start to degrade until 400,000 miles. utter nonsense but why. i don't mind anyone disagreeing with me but don't make things up. i am convinced that many ev owners deep down know that they have made a dreadful mistake but are in denial . i think that you are right and that it's about government control . won't have a smart meter and couldn't understand why they were being forced on us. now it's obvious , it's about using EVs to regain the lost tax on petrol and diesel
