I will buy physical games unless whatever I'm trying to get is digital only but I won't usually get a day one game and prefer to wait to buy a preowned game.

I also do not have any space on any of my consoles which is a large factor in not wanting to purchase digitals. I can also lend physical games to friends.

My personal rule is to only buy digital games on games you see yourself always swapping to. Like smash bros, sometimes I might wanna randomly play a round or two. I don’t feel like going to get my cartridge so I just buy digital. Same with multiplayer games you know you’d love because swapping games at a friends house just seems less convenient.

I prefer to wait a while and buy the games second hand. That way not only is it cheaper, but the overly greedy companies don't get a penny from me.

Because there isn't a comete game on the disc I tend to rent digitally as it doesn't matter. I do physical for switch as it has terrible storage
