Amazing sneaker to start off 2022. QC is bad cus pairs were sitting in high humidity in a shipping container for a while. As for the people that say the red is too bright, its not really different from most infared colorways

But actual Infrared is more reddish pink under sunlight. Infrared AM90s are some of my favorite shoes ever, and the color looks great on them (dashes if it against white). That said, I'm not really trynna rock black & Infrared 4s *that are sold as* black & red. And look red in all the pre-release stuff online. That's just me though 🤷🏼

@@hgr.7857 they don’t “look red” in all pre sale stuff, they are red. Some early pairs had bad fading which caused the red to look much brighter then they’re supposed to. Alot of infared colorways are just black and red so these aren’t much different I feel like you’re missing the point of my comment 😂

I'm sure the humidity was great for those foam midsoles, and the paint faded while they sat in a dark, humid shipping container? Regardless of what color they are or were when they were made, and acknowledging mutually that Infrared, flash crimson & the fire red usually used on bred Js are all different, distinct colors (and the fire red looks best on black), who wants to pay hundreds for humidity-sodden, faded out "new" Js? Paying customers have a right to be disappointed when their high-priced, long awaited shoes show up in unexpectedly different (poor) condition. Which seems to be what is happening based on early reviews. Ppl are reacting negatively, it seems, bc they feel screwed.

Fun Fact: This colorway is the very similar to the colorway that the ‘88-‘89 Michael Jordan wears in NBA2K15/NBA2K16. The only differences being, the wings are red, and the Jumpman logos are red.

For retail for those who want them not bad , but i wouldn't pay anything over that and honestly for me just not a must have. I liked these at first but the more I am seeing them , they just seem a bit off imo . The Jordan 4 is definitely in my top 3-5 Jordan silhouettes and normally I have a lot of time for practically any black and red Jordan, but these are missing the target a bit for me. My biggest issue is all the red on this pair is just way too light , also the material quality seems very average and these specific Jumpman logos not really doing it for me either . If it was a darker red I would probably be all over these and if they just upped the material quality that would help as well. And agreeing with Foamer , considering the the fire Jordan has been bringing lately does not help these in comparison. These aren't bad but just not it for me , despite how initially excited I was for these , seems a very average sneaker.

I definitely agree with Buckets score of a 6/10. If the color was more of a Varsity Red it would push it up to a 8/10. Better quality material 8.5 or 9/10. If these hit the outlets or someone was selling a pair under retail that's the only way I would buy these shoes
