I have this keyboard for a year now. Here are my Pros and cons: Pro: - A pleasure to type on - Only Logitech mx keyboard that is available in Azerty (BE-NL) layout. - The craft rotary encoder(crown) is very handy - Easily switch between devices Cons: - The Power / Lock button is placed wrong or needs a short delay to avoid accidental presses. - The upper row of keys should have had a bigger gap between the keys (horizontally) to avoid accidental key presses. Especially between de device switch buttons and INS / HOME / PG UP and on the numpad keys. - The lights lit up for 30 seconds, then it never goes on again. When i toggle the keyboard off & on again it works sometimes (25% chance). - The keyboard is way to flat and has no extra 'feet' to tilt it a little higher. When you do tilt this keyboard (eg put in half on a closed laptop) the keyboard always detects nearby movement which in turns lit up the LEDs (for as far as they work) - Battery drains fast when LEDs work. (flat in 1 or 2 days depending on usage). Without using the LEDs it works for weeks. - the volume up button (next to F12) should have been the mute button. Volume up/down should be used with the FN key. I sometimes accidentally press volume up instead of the backspace. Overall I'm pretty happy with this keyboard. I do tilt it a little and it is awesome when the LEDs work. 😛

6 minutes to explain you don't like the crown. Get an MX key for near half the price and be happy if that's all that's eating you. I'm surprised the real issues are not addressed like: F-keys labeled the wrong way round, the horrible double meaning labels for mac/win resulting in no less than 4 keys labeled "alt and something else" (not to mention all the brackets/hash/whatever keys which makes coding a horror), then the F keys not being in standard layout groups of 4, then the prt/scrl/pause keys not being in the proper place and the whole F keys row not being properly separated from the rest of the typing field and not even detached by color scheme. The impossibility to turn on the backlight permanently or adjust its brightness. It does have the nicest touch feel ever, though, and makes an excellent melee weapon.

@@nathanjfield same result , i shelved it and replaced with a cabled permalit standard layout keyboard . it's up for sale.

Correct. In my case at least, backlighting is another fairly useless feature. And the battery life is worse even with that turned off.

This was same reaction when I got it. BUT now after I saw that you can actually code your own custom code to work with the dial, it opens up a lot more possabilities. For example, some software like Adobe AE and Figma doesn't allow you to scroll threw your blending modes/drop down menu. But with code, you can actually make the dial to something that scroll wheel can't. But overall the app that it shipps with is pretty bad and useless

Yeah, I would just rather spend the money on something from Monogram or Loupedeck. My main grip is with the build quality and placement of the crown itself, rather than the functionality you can use it for.

@@designthink5206 I think I used AHK to play scroll event or button up/down event. Then I assigned the dial to run the AHK script.

yes, but this is always the customer mistake. we are fooled by false advertising and then we still give normal meaning to something we have already paid for. not all of us can work with codes. I actually have no idea what you are referring to.

Hi Nathan, I purchased this wireless keyboard a couple months and I absolutely love it. I love the weight is nice, the keys feel great, the lighted keys are cool and it's exactly what I hoped it would be. I use it just as a keyboard, none of the special functions and I have zero complaints. I hope you find the keyboard you want, the craft for me is perfect. Take care.

Glad you like it! I guess my point is it's overpriced compared to say, the MX Keys, if you're not going to use the special functions.

Bought one almost 4 years ago for 60 us light used and I'm happy with it and I'm using crown feature in premiere and tune up and down music or movies , love 3 devices feature so if you find one for 60-80 bucks go and get one

I used it too, I liked it but the backlight keeps refusing to work after a few minutes of use it does no longer come on. Logitech did not care about the problem. They say it's my computer but the keyboard failed on different computers Windows 10 and 11. So it's a firmware or a driver problem or simply the sensor that detects your hand is near failed all the time. Logitech did nothing to fix a 200 euro keyboard so I tryed another one from another batch. Same thing. Backlight fails.

I am looking into this very keyboard. I only want the knob to do brush size and feather in photoshop. Would it be OK for that? Only thing I would miss is the f16 to f19 function keys. My MX does have that so it's a bit of a struggle.

Is there weird sound (similar to shutter sound) when crown switches from fluid to bracketing mode?

Ich kann diese Beurteilung absolut nicht verstehen. Habe diese KB seit 4 Tagen. Ich nutze es in meiner Werkstatt für CNC und Internet, zum Schreiben, zum Zeichnen usw. Im Zeitalter da wir Strom sparen sollen gibt es für mich nichts besseres. Licht aus und trotzdem die Tasten erkennen können. Hände weg und die Tasten erlöschen. Mit dem Drehrad endlich mal schnell die Lautstärke zwischen verschiedenen Videos umschalten können...... unbezahlbar. Bin am überlegen, ob ich mir nicht noch eine 2te kaufe. Die Welt ist ein Kompromiss, auch ein Porsche Turbo ist nur bedingt zu gebrauchen.

too bad I didn't come across this video before I spent the money on this keyboard. instead I got all those of the excited ones who glorified this stupidity as the keyboard used in all the galaxies. what a crappy ad campaign Logitech made for this nonsense. that dial only uses for Logitech's advertising lies as for a working functional customization the potential allowed by the manufacturer is below 5%. not to mention the disappointment with exactly 5 days of battery life. before it, I had a Logitech, also with background lighting, from 2012, which even today lasts 3-4 weeks on a charge. a slick and expensive hoax.

The logitech craft is sensational - keys are tactile, the easy switch I have programmed for my 1 = Alienware Desktop, 2 = S6 tablet, 3 = S23 Ultra. it works and works well and battery life is great. But take this guys video as it is - I mean he did a video about it

To the most part yes, but not in Lightroom CC! Only Lightroom Classic.

It sucks for both Illustrator and Photoshop. When completing assignments, the instructor says use the ALT key. That doesn't work on this piece of crap. When I hit the ALT key, a pop-up opens up which is Windows 11 fault and I tried disabling it but couldn't. Now for the ALT key, I had to play around with it for hours and figured out I have to hit the CTRL key. I bought this specifically for PhotoShop and Illustrator but it's a nightmare. Do not buy this piece of shit!!

It is a wonderful keyboard, except Logitech abandoned it. Here buy our premium keyboard. Bye!! They moved every keyboard to the Options + software, they refuse to support this. So I can't move to if for my MX mouse. I don't trust Logitech anymore to support premium devices ever. They still ask over 150 dollars and still no software. BTW not sure what you wanted. Don't press the crown and turning it is the APP settings that you can swap with using light taps. Press down and and turning does my Windows setting. What did you want beyound that?
