@@mm1nt Difficult to answer, I haven't typed on the MX yet. I have tried maybe 50-60 different keyboards, and I have now migrated to custom keyboards (gmmk pro, kbd67 lite). But: the G915 is an absolute beast and THE best production keyboard I have used. Huge battery life, excellent build quality, excellent typing experience (brown tactiles), and great for software engineers (I am one, too). Long typing sessions (16 hours of working remotely) and I haven't felt any fatigue. It seems that the MX takes some new switches (Kailh Choc V2, the G915 has Choc V1, the V2s are a tiny bit higher). G915 Complaints: Keycaps are prone to breaking if you remove them to clean your keyboard (you need a wired keycaps puller to be safe), and they wobble a bit, both have been fixed with the new switch in the MX, it seems. Also, you can find keycaps for the MX easier, due to the more standard stem My take: wait for the MX and try it alongside a G915 in a store that allows you to. I believe you can't go wrong with buying either of those.

Logitech Flow can help with that though. But I'm not sure if it allows Mac to PC transition. First comparison of the three switch types I've seen, but my concern is less with the noise and more with the feel. There's no way I can buy all three to compare them myself, and no stores that are going to have all three available for testing. I wonder which of these is most similar to the Logitech G710+ I own (which apparently has Cherry MX Brown switches, with added o-rings for dampening). I think it's kind of funny that the youngsters have re-discovered mechanical keyboards. Back in the ancient days, mechanical keyboards were all that existed, but come the late 1990s, manufacturers ditched them because they were expensive, in favor of the crappy keyboards that have reigned for too long, until the recent revival of mechanical keyboards. Some keyboards from the 1980s and early 1990s will probably outlive anything made today, only you can't use them on most modern systems.

I almost regret just buying a G915 for my work setup a week ago. The only reason I say almost is while yes these are low profile, the G915 using the choc bar switches makes them not only lower, but even quieter. I have heavy fingers when I type so even though I previously had a brown switch keyboard, bottom out made it sound like I had a jackhammer to my coworkers. I will say if people are more conscious about their typing, these are probably the best options aside from trying to get lucky with a Keychron whenever they stay in stock for the config you want.

Smart illumination did not debut on the Logitech Craft keyboard. My Logitech K800 from 2010 had that feature where it uses sensors to know when your hands are close and illuminates :)

This looks like real replacement candidate for my Logitech G613 in my office that has issues with double typing and the characters on key caps after 3 years of daily usage really worn out. Also appreciate bluetooth support for quick reconnection between laptop and PC. Battery life 10 months without backlight - also comparable to the old keyboard. I am going for tactile, i need some keypress feedback, but not as much as clicky keyswitch offers.

All we need now from Logitech is a *_MX Keys Numpad_* and a *_MX Mechanical Numpad_* . I use a 65%KB+M+Numpad setup for ergonomics. Oh by the way Logitech, if you're reading this, *stop* giving us Europeans ISO-layout. It's not that hard to sell ANSI-layout QWERTY US-International in Europe.

Actually considering a Keychron K4 keyboard because I am looking for a wireless illuminated full keyboard, but the MX full keyboard looks great, plus it has swappable switches, pitty about the RGB colours though, sometimes feel like having different static color as backlight, but I appreciate the dedicated wireless receiver instead of only having bluetooth connection, don't always trust Bluetooth. Thanks for the great video, I will ve checking for the new MX keyboard.

it doesn't have swappable switches, only the keychron has it

I bought my MX 3S year ago and I have to admit that today I definitely can say that I appreciate that I have decided to buy this mouse. It is not a game changer because I have used multibuttoned MMO's mouses for a long time- to main change is a Flow and of course multiconnectivity. I have to check who it will work with keyboard.
