I would honestly just buy the precon and build from there. Very solid out of the box. Your list honestly doesn't even seem better, no offense.

That's cool, I appreciate your opinion

I have built my own homebrew with Sidar. I went almost completely rogue with my build, because there are some new cards with old mechanics, as well as older cards, that I think would be a very good fit. First up, the Words enchantments: Words of Waste, Words of Wind, Words of Worship. These can be activated to do something that replaces a card draw -- as here, replacing Sidar's draw trigger. In my deck, I use Words of Worship to gain 5 life, instead of drawing. You could go Words of Waste to control the hands of opponents, or Words of Wind to make opponents bounce permanents. Because I use Words of Worship, I coupled that with Well of Lost Dreams, which can actually increase the cards you draw. Alhammaret's Archive serves the dual purpose of doubling the Words of Worship life gain, as well as doubling card draw from Sidar, if you want to draw the cards instead. Second mechanic: Convoke. Blue and black have gotten some very good spells using Convoke as of late. The ones I use in my deck are Endless Obedience, Temporal Cleansing, and Complete the Circuit. Why am I using Convoke? Simple: Creature tokens, which are made by several Knights in this deck. Convoke is also why I use Intruder Alarm as a pseudo-vigilance tech, rather than Reconnaissance. Additionally, the Wand of the Worldsoul serves more than one purpose. Sure, it taps for white. But it can also make your higher-costing spells have Convoke -- which means your creatures can act like green mana dorks, but can hit a lot harder. Third mechanic: Flashback. This mechanic is a lot stronger than people think in this deck, because of the discard part of Sidar's ability. Which means you can still get a use out of cards that you discard. The cards I use here are: Sevinne's Reclamation, Deep Analysis, Rite of Oblivion, Dread Return, and Unburial Rites. And if need be, Runic Repitition to bring a card back to my hand from exile, and use it again. Pull From Eternity can also be used this way, but can also grab creatures that have been exiled, which can then be reanimated with Sidar's second ability. Lastly, OG Ravnica block mechanic Forecast, with Sky Hussar. Not only can you draw cards, but if you ETB the Hussar, you untap all of your creatures. Other notable cards: Obscura Confluence. The modes on this card are amazing. Want to dig through your deck? Use the Connive mode three times. Want to bring cards back to hand like Sky Hussar to use again? The third mode serves that purpose. Each opponent have creatures that you must deal with? Use the "make target creature a 1/1 with no abilities" mode three times -- and then blow up the board. Next: Incarnation Technique: Have a friend that needs help? Give him a way to get back a key creature with this. You, on the other hand, get two creatures back. Next: Doom Foretold. Basically, control the board with this and grind opponents down with attrition. By the time this gets sacrificed, more than likely, you are so far ahead in value that opponents can't stop you from winning the game. Next, Infernal Offering. Want to seem like a good guy to others, but actually manipulate things to your advantage? Choose the opponent that has no creatures, so they can't draw. Then choose the opponent who has no graveyard, so they get no creature back. Lastly, Invasion of New Phyrexia. This Battle not only gives you X 2/2 Knight tokens, but the flip side is a Teferi planeswalker that has a unique Emblem: It gives your Knights Ward 1 and +1/+0. If that were not enough, you can get this Emblem _multiple times,_ as in, more than once. Which, if you get this down early, may mean your opponents have no other option but to board wipe you in some way. But even then, the tax aspect of these Emblems may mean that they can't single-target remove your creatures! All in all, I found building this deck very satisfying. Unlike the Syr Gwym Equipment deck I played before, this one is much more resilient, and can draw a lot more cards. Plus, the average mana value in the mana curve isn't thrown off because of the higher costs of Equipment + the Equip cost. These Knights use few, if any, Equipment, and have an easier time of it.

It sounds an awesome take on the deck. Do you have a deck list? I like the way you thought about using different mechanics

@@firstruleofnerdclub: Sorry for the second comment, but YT deleted my first comment. To answer your question, no, I've not made a decklist, though I'm considering making one and uploading it to Moxfield, so I can tell Alias V on Elder Dragon Hijinks about it. For your list, a few suggestions: 1. Kindred Discovery. A budget replacement for Reconnaissance Mission that gets a 2-for-1 on card draw, without a damage trigger. 2. Support for Ria Ivor, Bane of Bladehold: Conspiracy (enchantment), Arcane Adaptation (enchantment), or Maskwood Nexus (artifact). This way, those Phyrexian Mites can attack and be unblockable. Plus, any non-Knights now become Knights you can reanimate with Sidar or Haakon. Bad cards in the deck: Lena, Selfless Champion. She seems like a good card, but base power/toughness, does not protect other knights with her sacrifice. She requires other ways of boosting her power to be higher than 6 to be effective. Aryel and the Vedalken Knight: Both of your "destroy target creature/permanent" knights are too slow, and cost too much. Instead, I would put some lifelink or Words of Worship in, coupled with Vona, Butcher of Magen. She is a lot better as a tap and life, instead of mana. Additionally, Campaign of Vengeance can gain you life as well. These are just some of my thoughts.

@@isaiahwelch8066 nice one thank you, I'm always up for people giving suggestions especially if it makes the deck play better and for the deck to win more times because ultimately that's the plan from the start lol I appreciate you taking the time, thank you.

very interesting build around the commander like into doing COMMANDER DAMAGE OR WINNING WITH INFECT its intresting kinda hardcore. no mercy. but its looks interesting! sadly what i think if you come with this ... once you show out your idea of WINCON... you can kill 1 oponent, but then the other 2 WILL GO FOR YOU. no mercy. you wont win.

Yea there is that side to it but with most of my decks I don't take any mercy lol I love playing magic but the games that take 2-3 hours bore me to death 😂 so I ether can hopefully win in the first 45 mins-1 hour or I get killed which is fine because I'll start another game with someone else. I try to make each deck completely different or at least a bit different from others because I like them to be a bit unique. I really appreciate you taking time give me feedback and this is an older video so it's made a lot different from what I'm doing now. If you could watch a newer one and let me know which style you prefer and if theres any way to make the videos better so they're better for you and others to watch that would be awesome but no pressure
