I know people who drew on their Mana Crypts. People are wild. I took JL and Dockside out of my deck but there is no way I'm selling or destroying them. I just have this feeling that they will retain value since it seems a lot of playgroups are ignoring the recent change. IDK what would be worse, WOTC reverting the ban now or in a year (which is when I would expect it to happen).

They specifically said they werent unbanning them yet. They will unban them eventually so they can keep reprinting them but they are going to try and let things relax for a bit first i think

Sol ring really only maxxed out at $10 which meant it was "okay" to drive the price down, if they reprint a $200+ card to oblivion like they did with Sol Ring, there would be no buyer confidence anymore for expensive singles

On one side I feel the cards should stay banned cause rewarding toxic behaviour won’t help. But knowing wotc they will eventuallly unban them cause they see potential money. And wotc’s main priority is shareholder priority the game design is number 2 priority. I would say the ban will last a year at least though.

Wizards official statement only mentioned that nothing extra is going to be banned and that the banlist is not high prioroity for them right now. This does not mean they won't unban anything. I don't believe their first act as Ruling Committee would be to undo the last act of the prior Ruling Committee. That would be especially heinous.

In the post i saw i didnt see anything about Wotc saying they wont unban anything. Though im of the side that thinks they things that are banned need to stay banned . with the exception that i still want to see a separate list for banned as a commander/companion.
