So ESports titles should be fluid at 1080p high, and most AAA titles are 900p low-med playable. The $500 build is a WAY better option as you will get a great 1080p high experience. As with any budget oriented build, things are always up for change, and little changes in budget can make a HUGE difference in what you can obtain. Trying to get used parts is always a great way to save money, especially by reusing an existing case or getting a used for next to nothing. Doing that alone can save you $40, allowing you to step up to an RX 580 or adding a 240GB M.2 drive to the $500. In the $400 build's case, you can swap the 2200G out for the 2400G giving you 4 extra threads and further helping out your gameplay experience.

That's too bad. I just bought a Thermaltake Smart ProRGB 650W 80+ Bronze for a new 2600x build 7 months ago. Draws were 7 year warranty and Japanese caps, and it was on sale. I always over spec power supplies so there running in the low/normal zone. It is whisper quiet though. If it was noisier than I imagined it should be, then I would have RMA'd it or got Amazon to replace it. Irritating noise is unacceptable as that could be mean there's other issues. Fortunately being in my late 50's I filter higher frequencies naturally. Be good to yourself and don't suffer the noise because it really shouldn't do that. Also, that's why I went modular, if the PSU goes bad, 4 screws, unplug the cables and off it goes. And the test of a good company is how stressful their RMA system. I've only had to RMA hard drives many years ago and Western Digital was excellent.

$100 in labor, OEM key, and initial Windows installation isn't a bad deal IMO. I spend a lot of time building a computer to make sure it looks good when it's done, and I like to think I'm worth it. It's another reason why independent builders don't make this a full time job because system builders are well established, buy in bulk, get wholesale deals from various companies, and have an assembly line of sorts to get things done faster.
@DawidDoesTechStuff4 жыл бұрын

there should be a website that enthusiasts go on and charge people like 40 dollars instead of the 150 that most prebuilts put on top of their systems for building it and stuff to build people PC's. I know I'd be happy to charge that much for a PC build as I enjoy doing it and custom water cooling would be even more fun. There could be like a whole verification process with like a video chat to confirm that you actually can build a PC and you could become a verified seller (which you wouldn't need a degree for you would only have to pass that process). As the website they could take like a small cut of the fee not only for profit but also as money to like keep the servers running.

years (and i mean years) ago i bought a pre-built pc from a local home based seller. He convinced me that i had bought a 500mb (yes mb) hard drive - which was a lot when windows 95 was around :) and infact he had installed hard drive compression software on it with a 4x ration so infact my harddrive was only 128mb. Extra video outs, probably. Because that A320/whatever cheapshit chipset motherboard isn't going to have more than one video out (probably HDMI), the 710 would provide extra outs. Then you set primary processing to the APU, and use the 710 as a pass through. Sounds like a decent idea to me.

@trevorsmith4703 жыл бұрын
Honestly, the worst part of the PC is that they bothered to include a graphics card at all. The iGPU on the 3200G is very competent, yet the GT710 is trash. In other words, people who forget to plug in the monitor to the graphics card and plug into the motherboard instead will have a better experience. Also, the PSU you added to the list was... really bad. No 80+ certification, and group regulated.

To give you an idea of what Windows 10 costs OEMs. Ibuypower tier OEM is around 44.00 for Windows 10 Home, 54.00 For Windows 10 Pro. HP/Lenovo/Dell are around 30 for home and 40 for Pro. That does not include the few cents they get from bloatware. In US you are not legal if you buy an OEM copy and not sell the PC once it hits hardware. Again home users not a big deal. Companies it is a little different as you can be audited. So just buy an OEM key from Europe where there is no resell requirement. That won't work as you license is dependent on where it is installed and not where it is bought.

I strangely actually built this machine but for a office workspace and built it specifically to be as reliable of a computer as possible. EVGA 500 Watt Gold with ryzen 3 3200g, Gigabyte b550, 2x16GB 3200 MHz RAM (VERY OVERKILL), 512 GB NVME Sabrient Rocket, and used a Lian Li 205m Case. Way better than his Intel duo Dell system that he was running and if he needs to upgrade. He has a huge path to work with. Up to 16 core CPU as we know.

Oddly enough I was asked to build a server PC for a company some time ago and they specifically requested THIS THING in their PC. I was shocked considering that they also wanted an i9-9900K in their build and when I suggested to just forget about it they said to just put it in anyways.. I really have no idea what other use case they may have for it because as far as I can tell they are only using it on one monitor and the PC was always shoved in a server closet...

If you have pc knowledge but dont have the time to build one, using that knowledge you can determine which prebuilts are good for the price, I have the knowledge and managed in minutes to find a company that most of the time can be worth it, so if you are getting a prebuilt, I recommend taking the time anyway to get the knowledge of computers, plus, it helps you determine if your pc will run certain games, knowing your specs and understanding what they mean is very helpful if you are a budget gamer.

This is my first ever gaming PC and its a good starter PC. If you already had PCs and you want to get a Good running PC don't get a cyberpower PC. A cyberpower pc is a starter PC. I do want to upgrade my ryzen 3 to a ryzen 7 and i want to upgrade my graphics card to a 1060 since i got a 1030 but the pc is good.
