I picked up a 2018 Colorado zr2 diesel 16,000 miles for 35k love the truck. Getting around 22-24 mpg I agree with you on the trim package you have the interior of yours looks like mine.

Lol, 2:32 through 2:46 got me to sub. I have a 15' Canyon SLT and am currently going through the nightmare of dealing with GM to recuperate $$ I'm spending to have the dealer repair a recalled item on the HVAC system. 15's and 16's are notorious for not being able to dial in the thermostat; for example, I have to have it set to 90 degrees to feel heat in my vehicle. 89 and lower blows cold air. This was recalled on these vehicles and band-aid fixed by GM with a worm clamp on a blend door actuator component under the dash by your gas pedal. I've been calling GM every day for the last week or so pushing them to either cover the repair (seeing as how it was recalled and fixed poorly). Hopefully the heated seats on your Denali are good too. I never feel like I'm getting really warm/toasty seats in this vehicle even with them fully cranked.

I got the 18 canyon denali. I too hate that fake wood but the fake wood is used in all Denali's. I have the gas v6 and its way too loud. I hate the lack of power seat that you mentioned and the gear shift looks cheap. Its ok with me that its down by the cupholders but the shifter just seems like its from an Alero or something. Also HATE that you have to use a key to start it. Everything is push button start now!

Sicmab i actually work for gm. But I'm just an hourly worker. We build the cruze at my plant. The profit margins on all this shit is huge, even with all the deals and discounts, thats why it pisses me off so bad that they couldn't add keyless start at the very least. And the fake wood in the entire Denali line is so ugly the only conclusion I can come up with is that a black man must have given the go ahead on it.

although i dont have a denali, i have the colorado z71. I hate the fake carbon fiber they have in the interior where your fake wood paneling is. i tend to take my truck off roading a bit, so the biggest thing that pissed me off was the stupid air dam in the front taking away 5-6 inches of clearance.

@@Sicmab i'm more of a midsize truck guy as i don't haul much, but love diesels, and offroad on a couple weekends during a month. i think i'm going to keep my truck for now and IF they bring over the ranger raptor with the bi turbo diesel, thats when i'll switch back to ford. a very expensive switch yes, but worth it at this point.

They sell a kit to make your tail gate lockable by key it’s like 60 dollars not bad to install either.

They’re losing me bro. Ford and Ram are adopting some crazy tech and rolling it at every trim level. More and more features are becoming standard with their brands .... I had super high hopes for the 2500HD. I had been planning to get it since rumors surfaced in 2015. Now that it’s out, it looks like they took the horrendous simplistic interior of the Tahoe, rounded off some corners, kept some legacy features, and are calling it the “new 2500.” I’ve definitely started doing some research on PowerStroke engines.

guy I work with has a Sierra 1500 SLT and it literally has every bell and whistle i have except the name denali. I'm almost regretting this buy, i went from a 2014 tundra crewmax to this.
