Don't Choose Wrong! 32 bit - Tascam X6 (Podcast, YouTube, streaming)

Hey, my man, I don't know if you're using a fethead, a cloudlifter, or anything similar when you recorded the audio sample with the Tascam X6 and the RE320 which is a dynamic mic, and you said you had the phantom power on, and in general you're not supposed to use phantom power with a dynamic mic, it's for condenser mics. If you do so, after a while you could end up causing damage to the mic. Just wanted to give you a heads up.

hey man! Finally something to the point on yt - thx a ton! my 2 cents: I got hyped on x8, however decided against it, for: - bluetooth dongle (I am speechless on this topic) - non unified input interface(s) (why not to use XLR for all of them? Nothing little 'tetrissing' won't fix) tl;dr: ta-scam

I have seen other youtube video, you can plug in a Bluetooth module and use your phone or iPad to control the device.

Actually mines just got fried by an electrical surge two weeks ago. This device was my favorite interface, the sound was great overall compared to my zoom F3

Did you try to optimize this video for crappy devices? The audio is hard to listen to, totally over- enhanced sound of the voice... Sounds like one of those "Exciters" in the 90ies.

Why do you need 32-bit recorder for plugging it into your camera that does not support 32-bit?

@@Fredo.heavyy I do not drive a car so I cannot understand you. But i think that additional airbag that won’t work in any case is not a good decision. Also I am not a youtuber, sound designer, podcaster, etc. Just listen to Curtis Judd - that guy mention almost in every video about 32-bit float recorders that could be connected to the camera the fact that if your camera does not support 32-bit audio that your result still be clipped. BUT if you want to have an ability to record your audio SEPARATELY in 32-bit and match it in post than I was wrong and I am sorry that I did not fully understand you.

Curtis Judd is much wiser than me, listening to him. I lower the camera preamps to lowest setting and it “technical” provides cleaner audio. It’s always good to have a backup and this isn’t the best solution just the method I use.
