Regardless which country you go, it’s not going to be as easy like walk in the park. So firstly I believe, the expectation should be lower. And currently every country is dealing with inflation. Choose your subject wisely and don’t afraid to choose something different then what you did back home. Subjects related to health, engineering, welding, fabricating, automobiles, IT are always on demand on any country.

I am a UK return, studied, worked and lived in UK for 7 years. I can honestly tell to all the viewers of this channel. They are saying the truth. This is the reality of UK. Worst wheather and high cost of living are the main reasons. Please don't fall in trap for ILR, I know some of the working professionals from India are going to UK on skilled visa for low salaries just for the sake of ILR. Please think carefully. I would say, India is very good now compared to other countries, vast opportunities. East or west living in Motherland is the best.

Yes guys I 100% vouch for their message being a British Indian & living here for 15yrs . Life in U.K has drastically changed last few years . Nothing is good about this place anymore. After living here for this long & being properly settled with family , we now feel we must head back to India . Once you live in a foreign country you come to know the value of your own mother land . You are absolutely right. I was into teaching since 9 years back in home country and after coming and exploring uk I came to know that we have far better education system and skilled workers in India. There are many things which I observed, obviously every country has pros and cons. However, it’s not worthy to come here if you have a good job or business there in India. In many instances we have better quality of life and standard in cities back in India.

I totally agree with you guys… we moved here about two years back from Singapore and the shock and sad state of affairs in UK is beyond imagination at the moment. I think more people should speak honestly and come forward to voice that UK is officially a 3rd world country and one is better staying in their own home country rather than moving here!

First of all, you guys should change the subject of the video and make is specifically for students. Also, there are many students who come to uk on scholarships provided by Gov / different companies (off course good students), and often get internships aswell. There is a huge requirement of tech labour in UK, so unless you are a tech student, it is better not to come to UK. Last but not the least because of the inflation the prices are really high as many countries, also the general job market is still open, no matter the lay offs, which offers competitive salary too.

From a student point of view, don't you think you should done a bit more research about the overview of your course and how it will be conducted? I def. get the part of IT'S NOT EASY and I respect you guys being transparent about it. But yes, going to any university around the globe and be it India too, I feel one needs to see the planning of the course while doing an in-depth survey on the same. Literally give it 1 to 2 years before you decide on your universities and applications for Masters or PhD. Just felt like sharing this pov as well :)

Yes you’re absolutely correct. Warwick is a v highly rated uni. Unfortunately a lot of ppl from India may not be aware that the unis they are applying for are just not great. That employers will not be knocking on their doors- at all or in the same way as a well rated uni. Middx uni, Westminister, Thames Valley etc etc are prime examples of not great places.

Thanks guys for your honest views. I am in Mumbai right now as a mid-level corporate employee. I am actively considering a job offer in London currently (same department in my own company). I did some research and was heavily discouraged by the cost of living and taxation issue. My calculation tells me that we are living a much better life in Mumbai than what is affordable in London. Plus, future of UK economy looks much bleak as compared to India. I am still considering the offer and want to look at it as an adventure and a nice change in my mundane middle aged life (I am 40). My wife will also work and is likely to have a decent job in London. So, we may not struggle as much financially with 2 decent jobs. But we will not be saving any more than we could in India. My research and conclusions were kind of validated by the things you mentioned in your vlog. Thank you so much. I spoke to some folks who are staying in London for varying lengths of time and they also told me the same things that you said.

Like new vs old build, distance from station, catchment area for outstanding school , good council, clubs etc. How did you find your house, interiors and important factors to consider, etc. Thanks

@@hemanthpothala356 Canada is better. Here are the reasons: NZ is too small, in size and population. So jobs are few. Most population is located in Auckland so jobs are also in Auckland. That makes Auckland as the only place with jobs and people. Now Auckland itself is small so even if u earn a lot, you can only be in or around Auckland. That also makes Auckland very expensive. The worst situation is of health services. While doctors in India have so much of exposure, they are good at diagnosing health problems. Due to limited exposure, the doctors here take a lot of time to both diagnose and make a decision so health services are pathetic. Imagine how would you feel if you have to pay 4.99$ to buy 2 pieces of green chillies. The border is also tightly controlled so getting things easily imported is difficult. For example you can’t find coconut when all the neighbouring pacific countries have them in abundance. Papayas are either too expensive or not available. So if you haven’t seen the world, you wouldn’t know how backward NZ is. The worst is cost of internet. Here internet access on mobile is still like 20$ for 1 GB.

I’m in canada since 2017, had to work extraordinarily hard and go out of my way to get things done and reach 6 figures, pr done, exit plan is I’m opening my own fuel station, blood and sweat guys. It’s not easy anywhere. Yes inflation high taxes is everywhere, but given a chance to stay, they will. Choosing uk isn’t really a best move imo, should’ve gone to Germany instead. But what’s done is done, all the best!

@@hemanthpothala356 it depends on what you want, expensive houses and high taxes are a world problem, but imo I If you’re skilled Canada is better closer to USA and has slightly better employment prospects in the information technology sector and is also better from an immigration perspective, you can get Permanent residency easier compared to other countries and then apply for citizenship and move to USA. Uk isn’t bad either, just not the best choice, but if you don’t want to go to uk or Canada, choose Germany 🇩🇪, I’d have said Australia but getting a PR there now is not as easy as it used to be.

@@hemanthpothala356 that’s a global problem buddy, Not just Germany, If you could go to the United States that’s another story, and you can’t save your way rich anyway, saved up money will be used now or later. I’ll choose Canada over all, Germany is just my favourite destination. It’s what I want, you may choose whatever but I’ll recommend Canada rather than going to Uk because Because if you invest Canada is a safer option it’ll give you time to recover the money you invested and hopefully for you, you can find an opportunity which might let you make a living here and get houses and stuff eventually, UK stay back options are not the most promising. Sabse important question ye ha k apke pas options kya ha - agar ap uk nahe aooge tou aisa kya kar sakte ho jise apki family ka furture acha ho sake. Har vaqt kay apne challenges hote ha and naturally around the globe inflation upar ha but UK jaise country jalid se recover kar sakta ha in sab problems se compared to our home countries. Jab mei student visa par aya tha tou mei ne labour work kiya, security jobs ki, restaurants mei kam kya magar is sab ne mujey aik strong person banaya aur agar mei aj apni field ki job kar rha ho vo un sari sacrifices aur hard work ka result ha jo ap yaha aaake uk mei karte ho aur aik baat hamesha yaad rakhe kabhi bhi hard work zaya nahe jata upaar vaala apko khain na khain reward zaroor deta ha mere is baat pr puraa yaqeen ha. Stay positive and be optimistic, at the end of every dark tunnel there is a light. #harrisspeaks
