Seniors are not always responsive. I tried contacting around 10-15 people. But, only 2 were actually responding. And, with those 2 people too, I feel like I am over stretching the conversation. Professors were quite responsive and guided me well as of now. Got my courses booked and now waiting to land there and find a job to support my expenses. Thanks Yudi, for guiding us every now and then.

Typically, they are very busy just like you will be if you spend at least 1 year in US. Most people try to reach out only via whatsapp. Try to send emails, they work far better. Everyone in US uses emails and so should you. People are always willing to help but the help depends on what you ask for. Starting with a small ask is fine and growing from there is better. Most new students ask for too much. Send 100s of emails to 100s of people. You'll get responses from most people. That will help you connect the dots.

Hey Yudi! Great video! Regarding US bank account/sim card, which one would you recommend: Zolve or Ellis? I've seen Parth recommend Ellis, so I'm a bit confused. Please help me choose one. Also, I've seen that using more than 10% of your credit limit is not good for the credit score. So say if I get $4k limit from Zolve and as soon as I arrive, I purchase a $3K MacBook Pro from the CC I pay back the CC amount (before the end of the month), then will it reflect 75% credit usage or stay at 0%? Also, will that add to my credit score and will I get cashback return, or is that only applicable if I wait till the end of the month and pay the CC amount back when I get the CC report?

Bro you gonna get like 1500 to 2500$ credit limit tbh. I had 800+ credit score in india, took 40L loan and got 1500$ credit limit 🤣 Whatever it is, some people say use 30-40% of credit limit of credit card. Am also confused about that part. Zolve give Lyca sim + credit card + us bank account, ellis give T mobile sim + us bank account I am Fall 2022 student, have taken zolve cc, got lyca sim and most probably after couple of days using it will change it to T mobile sim, as in get T mobile sim, which has better network and is also cost friendly.

They both have pros and cons. Zolve gives you credit card whereas Ellis gives you just us bank account and debit card. So if you want to build credit score go for Zolve.

Hey Yudi, I have a 3 year BBA in India and I am aplying for MS Business Analytics. I currently have a year (applying for Fall23) so I am confused what is better option? To apply to 3 year accepting universities and get 1 year of work experience OR go for 1 year of PG diploma to make 16 years of Education and broader my university options? I am scared of the GRE as well, and if I do 1 year PG diploma, 2 universities will accept without GRE and I feel is like work expirience is better in long term for OPT specially (will help lend a job faster) Please help me out!

Coming to US asap is always best. The kind of exposure you get is amazing and the opportunities will flow. I am from a BBA background from Hyderabad and I'm currently doing MS Marketing Analytics and Insights at Wright State university. It accepts certain 3 year degrees. I did my research and chose Marketing Analytics over Business Analytics personally.

Choose MBA which is has STEM certification and is eligible for OPT extension if that is possible. Most MBA programs are Not STEM. I wanted to do MBA and came to MS Marketing Analytics instead because of STEM. It is also affordable so it worked out for me. My program is MS Marketing Analytics and Insights at Wright State university if you're interested.

NiYo Global card is history. They aren't promoting it much and I think they aren't even issuing it anymore. It was a great product and I used it for a long time but I guess they weren't making any money from it. Zolve is a newer product which is providing a different service. NiYo is just a debit card, Zolve is a credit card. So there is a big difference. Last year Zolve was giving 0% interest for first 6 months and also gave 15m 0% interest for some people. I think they stopped it now but it is still a good option. Get both if possible. NiYo is helpful if you have money in India and you want to use it in US.
