Hi Parth, all US universities have a position called RA (resident assistant). Basically to get that position students are required to live on campus for a certain time. Some unis require you to live on campus for 1 semester and some require you to live for 1 year before you can apply for the job. Once you get that job dorming and meal plans fee are covered (in most unis) or they'll have to pay around $400 for a semester which is really cheap. I actually got the position and it is really helpful for me. I'd say it is worth to spend little extra money as an investment to get the dorming fee fully or partly waived.

Hi, we are moving to usa in Dec 2024 on family based visa. My daughter will have to start college, right now she is applying universities. We are trying to find info about universities for a case like hers but very less information available. This comment makes a lot of sense and I would like to know more.

I do not think so. even if you have spare space in your luggage, do bring some soaps, toothpaste, tomato ketchup, Pickle, Mio, Packed branded spices and pulses, Hair oils, cosmetics you use, cooked bitter guard, Frozen desi Ghee, Biscuits etc. These things are all very costly at Indian stores. Cashew and Almonds ( Rs 580 per Kg ) are cheaper here in USA.

Hi Parth, I hope you are well. Thanks for the video mate. Could you please make a video on how to invest as a grad student? I mean, I am not sure if this will fit your motive with your channel, but there are some people who would love to watch about to investing in the USA being on F1 status. Cheers!

Well not exactly true I took my handloom jacket from Dharamshala Himanchal is way more warm that US stores jacket. You will rarely find 100% authentic wool in the US. They are cheap Chinese made western brand or else you buy Northface that is way out of my budget. And those cheap Walmart pans is not good for your body you will get chemicals in food. Search something in goodwill.

Put on 2-3 layers, can get some normal jacket with winter innerwear from decathlon and use it for couple of days and buy from the nearest store. It's the quality too which matters, I have experienced this while I traveled for a trek in himalayas.

*gaycore* 1.) a person who listens to rap, hip-hop or something and trying to pretend that he's a metalhead, and so he acts gay whenever he's trying to act like a metalhead... so sad... hahahhahahah. kinda simmilar to 'poser'. prolly trying hard to be a metalhead/punk or something. 2.) a person who used to be a metalhead converted into a fucking hip-hop person. 3.) someone who totally turned thier back on being a metalhead and started listening to a fucking hip-hop music...
