That’s your ignorant way of thinking- any female or male of any color allow themselves to be treated that way and or attracts that type of treatment. Statistically, they’ll say Blacks are more violent towards their women, but those facts are of course skewed do to the media towards Black men (as seen in your comment). Furthermore, it is also statistically shown that Black women report domestic abuse more than other races- in other words Jose beats his wife (or gf), Akbar beats his wife (or gf) no race is better than the next in reference to that.

The point about complimenting skin could use more nuance. I've heard men say things like, "You're pretty for a Black woman," "You look different from other Black people," or "I like spice in my life, so I only date Black women." These aren't really compliments because they demean others (especially Black people) and don’t genuinely celebrate you. I've also received compliments about my skin that were genuinely kind, like, "I love how the sun makes your skin glow" or "That white dress looks amazing against your skin." There's nothing wrong with appreciating what you see, just as there's nothing wrong with me saying that I love how the sun brings out his freckles. The issue is when the compliment becomes a generalization about Black people, or when it’s framed as if you’re different from his stereotype of Black people. Equally problematic is when the compliment is solely about you being a Black woman, as if any other Black woman could take your place.

Agree, and there are WM that do just find a certain shade of black women attractive. We're all attracted to different traits. I've been told by a WM that they love my dark skin - in addition to my eyes and smile.

You left out ex-Catholics, they never do seem to recover. Its just very cultish and colonial and they can't really shake it off no matter how hard they try, its like baked into them. Fun to watch them try, but the closer you get to them, the more it blows up in your face. And they stalk. Very jealous, possessive and controlling and covert about it. I'd say, leave those ones to the therapists and recovery groups.

He seemed to be really turned on by it. He also tried inviting me on a trip too early in the relationship to DR! I said no because it was too early. I didn’t know him well enough. Later on after we spent more time together he told me he wanted to buy me boobs in DR. I feel like he has a fetish with my look. He thought I was Dominican & I’m not. He’s been obsessed with getting me pregnant. I think he wants his kids to look like me with my skin tone. He also got bold in the sheets & wanted me to call him master….. big NO NO & turn off!🤦🏽♀️

I've had negative experiences with two white hockey players. 1: Hockey culture is very toxic. 2: Just from my observations in Canada, many hockey players end up with petite, white blondes or brunettes. If you date a white hockey player just make sure you take things SLOW and make sure they are serious about you and not just wanting a good time.
